First and Last

Character Summaries

~~~~~~~~~~Okay, I decided to be nice and put up a list of all the Main-Ish characters so far and that will appear in this next chapter (that I- by I, I mean my awesome sauce friend reaganb- will post later)  to make it easier for all you guys. I'll give you a slight background on each in the second paragraph and their physical appearance in the first one  so you'll be able to identify them also! Just so you know, if a character has supporting/main character it means they start off as the first thing, a supporting character in this case, and then they change in the story to the second thing, a main character. I also included all the core classes the characters have with Selena. Not any elective classes because they change during the two quarters left of the school year in the story(:  Sorry it so confusing!! Also, this next chapter is where the drama starts to begin ^_^ I hope you enjoy it, but until then, here is the list of characters. ~Steph~~~~~~~~~~

1.      Selena Kane: "The"  Main character. Story is told from her prospective.

      Selena is about 5 feet tall and has dark brown eyes, that some people think look black. She has short dark brown curly hair that she straightens on almost a daily basis because it is so unmanageable otherwise. She is small and has a petite, but slightly curvy figure (for her age, 13, lol) which causes her some very unwanted attention at times from friends and strangers alike. The girls often make fun of Selena for her very small ears.

      Selena and her family are from Africa. Her last name was simplified upon moving to the United States. In 7th grade, her and her family moved to a new town. Selena runs track sprints (100 m dash), is in dance, is also in the musical playing the clarinet (in the pit band) with Jayden, Parker, Andrew, and a few other people and plays tenor saxophone in their school's jazz band. Selena is very shy and timid towards strangers and waits for people to come talk to her, instead of talking to others. That being said, most of her friends are very outgoing. When she is around her friends, Selena's attitude completely changes. She is usually very bouncy and energetic, giggly and happy, and at some points, frighteningly sugar high.

2.      Jayden Hillfeld: A main character.

      Jayden is about 5 feet 6 inches tall and has dark brown eyes. He has just turned 14. He is not your stereotypical Asian. He has medium length black hair that frames his tan face, and has a lean, but athletic body type.

      Jayden, adopted from South Korea, and now lives with his "new" parents. He dates Selena Kane throughout much of the story. Is pretty popular. Can be extremely annoying and talks most of the time. Plays a lot of instruments and plays competitive soccer and various other sports, though not competitively. Jayden can be smart if he applies himself to the task at hand, but he often doesn't. As a result, his grades suffer. He is in the musical with Selena, Andrew, Parker, and some others in which he plays the alto saxophone. He has 2nd Period Advanced Writing and 4th Period Advanced Reading with Selena.

(Be warned, he is a very dynamic character in Selena's mind, and changes drastically in Selena's point of view as she realizes what kind of person he really is. *cue scary music* (; hehehehe )

3.      Lana Noelle (pronounced Lah-nah not Lay-nah :P): A main/supporting character.

      Is about 5 feet tall and is also 13 years old. Lana has long, thick sandy brown hair that goes down almost to her waist that most girls would die for. She is rather small. Her voice has a raspy undertone to it and she has a small, almost square face with big blue eyes and a small, perfectly rounded mouth with dimples and "nerd glasses" to match. The girls often make fun of Lana for having such small hands and ears.
