Paths paved in ice
Cold winter rain
Why do the quiet feel undeserved pain?
Frothy, grey sea
Broken and tame
Why are the warmhearted branded with blame?
Shattered black moon
Tongues of white flame
Why do the innocent wear stolen shame?
Because there is bias
Because there is hate
They say we're united
But, alas, it's too late
