I finally got to the bottom of the stairs. I see two unfamiliar people in sight. I shyly walk over to Justin who is standing next to them.
"Tori, Marissa, " Justin said, "This is Delilah." he slung his arm over my shoulders and i waved my hand. Smiling a shy smile at them.
they started giggling and smiling to themselves, "I knew there was a girl." one of them said.
"yeah, I told you! i wasn't lying about the deleted tweet!" the other one said, pointing to her friend, showing her she was victorious. A tweet about me?
"wait, what? A tweet about me?" i said to Justin.
"Uh." he started blushing a bit, and looking around, avoiding eye contact with me. "what are you uh-"
"whatever," i said smiling, "Introduce me to your "friends"" i added, putting air quotes around the word friends jokingly.
"I do have friends, thank you very much." he said, slightly offended. But he knew i was joking. "Okay, so this is Tori, " he said, pointing at her.
I walked over to her and she grabbed me into a big embrace. 'Nice to meet you!" she said. "I can't wait to learn more about JC's-"
"Frieeeeeeend." he said, dragging out the word. "we are friends." he said, motioning between the two of us.
"yeah that, he spoke so much about you when he first moved over here." she said, i wondered how much he did tell her about me.
"and I'm Marissa, and apparently not important enough for a proper introduction." the other girl, who i now know as Marissa, said.
I laughed, she was funny, "nice to meet you." i said giving her a big smile and a hug.
"yeah nice to meet you too." she said back, smiling. 'So are we still going to the mall or"
"yeah, i have plans later that I cannot miss. So lets get started now." tori said excitedly.
"yeah, sure i'm ready!" i agreed.
"Alright, you girls have fun," Justin said.
I told the girls to wait for me, I went to my mom and told her where I was going and asked my parents for some cash. "Love you." i said, walking back to the front door, "bye Karen, bye Mark. " I called out since i didn't know exactly where they were. Probably outside.
I walked out of the house with the girls, leaving Justin at home alone.
"I feel bad leaving Justin alone at home and stealing his friends." i told them, when we got to the car. Tori borrowed her moms car, and we were using that to get to the mall.
"yeah. Don't worry. he knows you need girl time. and You call him Justin?" tori asked. "it sounds so funny."
"yeah, i mean, i've called him that since we were kids." i said, "It's so weird to hear his friends call him 'JC'" i added, the name didn't really roll off my tongue easily like 'Justin'.
"Yeah i guess after all these years, its hard ot break a habit." Marissa said. "Mind if i put on the radio?"
"No go ahead." i said, sitting in the back as Tori and Marissa got comfortable in the front.
She put on a station and the music started playing, i didn't know the song, but Tori and Marissa were dancing along to it in the front.
I was just staring out the window. I haven't been in a car the last couple of days, because everything is walking distance from Justin's. It felt weird.
"So Delilah, " Tori said as the song finished, and she lowered the volume on the radio. "Has JC told you about his videos yet!?"
"Yeah he has," i said, "I've actually watched a few." i added, but didn't tell them, i'd watched the ones with them in it, just so i could be more fmailiar with them. I would seem like a stalker.
