"Because! I did that... weird thing in the bathroom... with the magazine."

He paused for a moment, and then surprisingly laughed, shrugging his shoulders. "Yuu, this is not the first time people have done that. You are the first person I have witnessed, but I am well aware that people do it when they release my shoots. It is all over media. It is... disturbingly flattering. That is the stylists' goals after all."

I shook my head, fighting a relieved smile. "Doesn't that make you feel kinda dirty, though?"

He pursed his lips, slightly chuckling. "After awhile, you grow numb to those kinds of things. I am just more focused on what you did for me earlier, with my aunt." I looked up at him. "I do not feel safe with her, but, in a way you will not understand, it meant more than words can say when you became my assistant and put a slight border between us."

Meanwhile, I nearly pooped my pants. That woman frightened me. God knows what she'd do to me now that I took her beloved place. But, I made Mika feel better, which definitely felt relieving to me.

"Well..." I awkwardly laughed, twiddling with my fingers. "If you don't mind me asking... Why don't you feel safe with her?"

He sighed as he plopped down on the couch in the lobby to his floor. I joined him, staring out into the dark night sky. "I do not wish to tell you; it is not something I want you to hear, but maybe one day I will tell you of our relationship."

I nodded, curiosity still raging in my mind. Tell me, you beautiful son of a saint!

It suddenly all seemed to fade away as the twinkling of the stars from outside of the window caught my eye. I gasped, smiling widely as I leaned over the side of the couch to peer out the window. "I almost forgot!"

He leaned over the arm of the couch with me, looking up at what I was. "What?"

I chuckled, looking over at him. "The stars."

"Oh..."

All of the stress of today seemed to fade as I stared up at the sky through the window, admiring all of the small and bright and big twinkles. I exhaled in bliss, resting my head on my hand.

"I love nights like these," I mindlessly blurted out, admiring the blaring moonlight.

"If you say," he began, pulling me up by my hand. I was confused, but followed him as he led me back to the elevators. "I will get you a better view."

Surprisingly, the elevator went all the way up to the rooftop which conjoined to a small, pitch black outer shelter, and I was surprised we even had oxygen at this high up. The cool air breezed harshly as I stepped out of the shelter door, the night illuminating the concrete.

"Best. Stargaze. Of the year." I stammered, plopping down right in the midst of the massive concrete that never seemed to end. I chuckled slightly, extending my fingertips into the wind. He sat down next to me, looking up into the night sky.

"I have never done this before," he admitted, perched up on his hands behind him. I shook my head slightly, smiling softly.

"It is the best experience you'll ever get out of life. We're here in just the midst of this huge galaxy. One little floating rock next to all of those stars. Just makes you realize just how small we are," I fantasized. I thought of this all of the time - just how puny the human race is. How little our problems are we make as people when there is the entire void out there that makes everything we stress about so irrelevant. So yeah, sure, I was still embarrassed, but Mika didn't care, and all I had to do was just remember how little my problems seemed.

"You like nature, a lot, I can tell." He giggled, hugging his knees. I nodded, looking over at him. The wind sifted through his hair, blowing it slightly behind him as if to exclaim his magnificence.
