The war is finally over, and people are living in peace. Well, except Yuichiro and his family. With Yuu's new family living with his one remaining member of his old, Mikaela, who is a vampire, something they all spent year fighting to defeat, their life is never boring. Shinoa Hiragi, Mitsuba Sangu, Yoichi Saotome, and Shiho Kimizuki, are all apart of Yuu's new family, but although they want to Except Mika into their family, they have a very hard time doing so. But with the peace treaty in place, and the 6 of them living together in one house, granted by the vampires, they have no choice but to live with Mika. Yoichi asks innocently "Well it's because of what happened on sunday twelve years ago today" I sigh out, "it's because almost every human died."

Seeing flashing lights and roaring crowds. He looks down at his feet. Too scared to be bought. Yuu had been born a Neko. In this world, Neko's are rare and they cost a lot. He got bought by someone at 16 that actually cared for him. Mika was born rich and loved his family with all his heart. He hated having a personal maid. His parents forced him to get one and he did. He never knew that the maid would be the one he loved.

In this Modern/Human! Mikayuu/Yuumika story, two gay but oblivious childhood friends, Mikaela Shindo and Yuichirou Amane, decide to run away from their abusive homes together; even finding love along the way. But running away was never going to be as easy as they thought with Mika's father hot on their trail in the hopes to find them and bring them back into the reality they're running from. And with Mika injured, getting far was never in the question. They really only had each other in such a cruel world, but they find their supporters along the way to finally let them live a peaceful life; where Yuu can teach Mika what it meant to be truly happy and live life to its fullest while Mika could teach Yuu what it meant to be safe and how love can destroy a person. After running into the crossfires of death and battling the scars left from their homes and the secrets they hold, they begin to learn that love means sharing the pain instead of burdening it. And after all the hope, despair, lust, love, tension, arguing, and sacrifices, they still wondered if they'd ever get their dreams to become a reality...

Join Yuu and Mika on there journey to the amazing Neko Academy where masters and there nekos train to protect there city... yeah right, this is just random and old, so beware, it's cringey. On his way back to his room, Mikaela could hear the voices of two guards. Peering around the corner to see who the vampires were, Mikaela noticed something strange, the two guards were... Kissing? Yuu, Mika and the rest of the squad are on a camping expedition with the rest of their school. After a successful first day, Yuu and Mika are paired in a tent, so are Shinoa and Mitsuba, and Kimizuki and Yoichi. They have to endure three days and two nights at a camping spot deep in the woods, going on hikes during the day then cooking and sleeping at designated spots along the trail.
