calum began to cry after the millionth time he told his son this story. and just like the other times, little adam would comfort his father in the best way he could. he loved his father, and it pained the young boy to see him so upset when talking about his mom. he hoped one day calum would be happy again, and not stuck on what tragically happened to his mother. she had leukemia, not long after adam was born. adam doesn't remember his mother at all, he was just a baby. but calum sure does. and a part of him hates that he has adam, because it reminds him of claire. his eyes, and his lips. even his little bitty nose. but an even bigger part of calum loves adam to death. he knows that claire would want him to protect adam in anyway he can. so he will.
