Depression
You can't breathe
You're drowning
But you can't be
You're still on land
Everyone is staring at you
They separate
Alone, all alone
Away from those you love the most
Thinking but never feeling
The pain you felt before
Gasping for air
Stretching out
Trying to escape
Trying to fit in
Trying to do something
But all of your attempts fail
And you sink lower and lower
Nothing works
Everything around you falls quiet
And your vision goes dark
