She ran out into the forest, running straight back towards Mr.Wolf's house. He would definitely help her! He promised!
She headed down the path, smiling slightly as she saw the cabin. She knocked on the door and smiled as she heard shuffling. She stormed into the house as soon as Mr.Wolf opened the door.
"Mr.wolf, please help! Bright, who has been taking care of me, tried to kill me and eat me and I escaped and now I have to find a way back home could you pleas-" The wolf instantly started growling.
"I told you I can't help!" He snarled, his fur bristling. She shrunk back, eyes narrowed.
"Fine! Leave me to die out here, you heartless monster!" Sarah spat. The wolf almost looked upset, it's eyes widening as she stormed outside.
She stormed down the path. She could find her own way! She knew she could. She heard paw steps behind her and turned, the small blade in hand. She was relieved wen she saw Mr.Wolf.
"Put the blade away. I'll help you..." He muttered. Sarah smiled, her eyes lighting up. She hugged him, shoving the blade back into her pocket.
"My real name is Everest, by the way." He said, leading her down a path. She nodded.
"You said not to go this way." Sarah commented. Everest just shrugged.
"No one will stop you, I'll make sure if that. Besides, this is a shortcut." Everest said, his voice icy calm. He obviously wasn't in the mood to chat.
Sarah sighed. It would be a long day.
