The clerk gave you the ticket, before you started to walk towards the security check. You took one more glance at your phone. When you pressed you unlocked you saw it said, 11:00 pm. You then saw multiple texts from your friend about where you were. You texted her the plan, put your phone back to your purse and began walking once again. You pulled your stuff onto the metal detector belt, took off your shoes, then rapidly went through the x-ray.
“Clear, please?”
You said in your head. You walked through and the alarm didn’t go off. You grabbed your shoes and slipped them on and got the rest of your items. You started to look for the flight number, 342. You started to count down, 339...340..341...342. There was a small line that started at the door, you heard small beeping noise as the flight attendant checked people’s tickets. The line had moved quickly and smoothly, before you knew it you were up next.
“Can I see you ticket, miss.”
You handed your ticket to her as she fake smiled while checking your ticket. She handed back your ticket and politely thanked you as you replied back the same to her.
You entered the plane seeing passengers or strangers but their suitcases in the overhead bins. You headed to your seat, and copied pretty much exactly what everyone else was doing. When you were done storing your bag, you sat in your seat next to the window.
That’s when you began to think, What if my plan goes wrong? What if Niall doesn’t want me? The thought got you frustrated, the flight attendant then began to talk about plane safety and etc. Finally the plane began to move, that’s when you decided to slip in your headphones, you knew you the flight was going to be long. You hid the wire in your hoodie and put your phone on silent. Next thing you know you were up in the air. You ears began to pop but you didn’t care, it didn’t care how annoyed you were or upset.
