Rythian's Point Of View-
Unlatching the gate, I walk slowly up the garden, taking in the once well kept grass. Weeds sprout up periodically along the cobbled path, making my task of walking along it several times harder than it should be.
I stop a couple of meters from the door, suddenly overcome with nerves. He's going to be so angry. I should just leave, he won't want to see me. Yeah, yeah I'll just... Go.
I make to turn around when the door flies open. And there he is, some metal hunk of machine in his arms, his blonde hair tussled around his goggles that rest on his head. He glances at me for a second before taking another step. Then stopping and slowly turning back to me, his blue eyes wide.
"R- Ryth?" He whispers and I nod, testing a small smile. The machine drops from his arms and before I can comprehend what's happening, he's hugging me and sobbing uncontrollably into my shoulder. "You- You ca- came ba- back!" He steps back half a step, holding my face between his hands. His expression is one of pure joy, despite the tears, "I can't believe it's you..." He mumbles, his thumb rubbing in small circles.
I have to say, I didn't expect this when I came back, "I'm sorry I left, I just... I needed time and-"
"It doesn't matter. I just- do you still love me?" He suddenly looks worried, his hands loosening their grip slightly.
"Lal, I'll love you to the end of the world and back." I smile before kissing him, both of us crying but neither of us caring, not any more.
A/N- I know it's super short but I don't care, it's cute okay!
Like usual thanks to AvatheBulldog for giving me the prompt for this xD
