Chapter 7

I'm sorry for not updating for years

Bethany's Pov

"Yes."

Justin smiled and pulled me in for a hug. I can feel Kenneth's eyes on us. I pulled away after 5 seconds.

"So uh are we gonna swim or just hug for the rest of the day?" I chuckled.

"I prefer hugging." He said. He was about to hug me again but I ran.

"Race ya!" I exclaimed. I ran as fast as I can, trying not to step on the rocks. Suddenly, I felt strong arms around my waste.

"Guess I won." Justin whispered to my ear.

When I tried to look at Kenneth, he was already walking away. He looked pissed.

Seriously what is wrong with him?

After swimming, we head to the rest area where the rest of the group are. Justin went to buy some snacks and I just sat there listening to Gabe's funny story of him and Justin.

But my eyes are focused on Kenneth and that blonde girl...who are sucking each other's faces.

Ew.

I feel my anger heat up and for some reason, I don't even know why I'm acting like that. I tried to listen to what Gabe was saying.

"Hey, are you okay?" He asked me.

"Um yeah...Why wouldn't I be?" I asked.

"Well I don't know because you keep staring at Kenneth." He said.

"I am not!" I snapped. Okay calm down, Bethany. "I'm sorry. I wasn't trying to sound mean." I added.

"It's cool." He chuckled. "Does Justin know about your crush on Kenneth?" He teased.

"I don't have a crush on him! I don't even like him. He's just...my friend." I explained.

"He spent a night in your dorm and you two were cuddling and shit...and your just friends?" He asked.

I sighed. "We're just friends, Gabe. I've known him a long time. Plus, I like Justin. What happened with Kenneth and I before is gone. We moved on now." I said. He nodded. I ran a hand through my hair as I saw Kenneth smiling and laughing with the blonde girl. I just rolled my eyes and cringed because really?

"I'm just-I'm just gonna go." I said. "Tell Justin that I don't feel well."

"Alright." Gabe said.

I lied. It's not that I don't feel well, it's just that I don't wanna be here. I need some rest. I tried not to let the tears spill out. I don't know, but it really hurts me knowing that Kenneth is happy with another girl. And I hate this feeling. I don't even like him so why do I feel like this? I tried to look back at him once and he stole a stare at me before turning away and wrapping his arms around the blonde girl. Am I starting to fall for Kenneth again?

"Ahh shit." I mumbled as I watched the 10th season of Supernatural. "I can do this. You can do this, Bethany." When I clicked the fifth episode, someone knocked on the door.

"Bethany?" Julia asked. "Are you okay?"

"Yeah, I'm fine. I feel better now." I mumbled.

She nodded. "Justin said he wants to take you out for dinner. He wanted me to ask for him because he's nervous."

I smiled. You know what, forget Kenneth. "I'd love too. I'll get ready and text him." I changed my clothes and put on my PATD t shirt, black jeans, and my gray vans. Casual, but not too causal.

"Looks like someone is going to have a fun night." Julia said, wiggling her eyebrows.

"Shut up, Amiot." I shot as she glared at me.

"I told you not to call me by my last name. I hate my last name." She pouted.

"Well I think it's nice." I said. Justin replied saying that he's already outside. "Well gotta go now. Justin's here."

"Okay. Have fun...but not too much." Julia giggled. I rolled my eyes and shaked my head while smiling. Oh, Julia.

I immidiately saw Justin and his car as soon as I got outside.

"You're beautiful." He mumbled, while looking at me from head to toe.

I smiled. "You don't look bad yourself." I replied.

We both got into the car and he drove. Until Hotline Bling by Drake started playing on the radio. Oh shit. This was my jam back in '15. Justin and I looked at each other.

"You used to call me on my cellphone!" Justin and I sang. More like shouted. "Late night when you need my love! Call me on my cellphone! Late night when you need my love! And I know when that hotline bling! That can only mean one thing! I know when that hotline bling! That can only mean one thing!" We sang the rest of the song as we laughed and laughed. I already know that this is gonna be the best night of my life.

[I'd love to write the rest of the song because this song is my shit but I'm too lazy so]

When we got in the Seafood Restaurant, he pulled my chair out for me. I ordered shrimp and he ordered crabs.

We talked for a while until I spotted a couple heading their way inside the restaurant.

It was Kenneth and the blonde girl.

DAMN IM SO SORRY FOR NOT UPDATING GUYS

Like I said I've been really busy and shit with my school and homeworks and wattpad was acting shit again like it won't let me write.

But it's ok now thank god.

Also, I've been waiting and dying to see the Hotline Bling dance cover of Kenneth like WTFFFFFFF

I also saw the Hit The Quan dance cover of BaiKen and I shit you not, i fucking died and squealed like a pig as soon as I saw the notification.

And about the 5sos fanfic that I told you, I might do it in summer because it's hard and I have to write it in a notebook and translate it into english and stuff.

Oh and one more thing. I changed my instagram username into: launey_is_a_penguin
