Percy's POV.

Annabeth came to visit me today, which I was grateful for. It was getting pretty lonely in here, and the food here are horrible. Annabeth was sitting by my side with her hand rubbing mine.

"I was so worried when I heard that you were in the hospital." Annabeth whispered. I gave her a weak smile.

"Well you don't have to worry anymore. I'm fine. And I'm sorry that you had to miss the dance, it was supposed to be special for you and all." I said.

"It's alright, it doesn't matter to me. You're what matters to me." She said. Warmth filled my cheeks as she said that. I wonder if we're like a couple now or something. It's kind of been an on and off relationship kind of thing.

"So what now?" I asked. She raised an eyebrow up.

"What do you mean?" She asked. I sighed.

"So what are we now. I don't think that we came this far to be nothing. What do you think?" I asked. A light pink blush spread on her cheeks.

"I agree on that. I want us to be a thing. You just have to ask the big question." She smirked. I smiled.

"Alright Annabeth Chase. Will you do the honor of being my girlfriend?" I asked.

"Um...I don't know." She said said with a sly smile. I scrunched my eyebrows.

"That's not fair, you forced me to ask you." I said playfully. She shrugged her shoulders.

"I didn't force you to do anything." She said. I crossed my arms.

"Don't expect me to ask you anymore questions." I said.

"Okay, okay, I would love to be your girlfriend." She gave in. I smiled.

"Yes!" I made a fist in the air. She smiled and laughed.

"Yeah, we should make it official with a kiss." She said coming closer. I smirked and pulled her into the famous Percy Jackson's kiss. And it was awesome.

And of course the moment was ruined. The doctor came in with a clipboard interrupting your moment.

"Um...sorry to disturb you, but I wanted to let you know that you can leave tomorrow morning." The doc. said.

"Okay, thank you by!" I shouted. He looked like he had more to say, but I gestured for him to leave. I turned to Annabeth with a smirk. "Where were we?"

"Sorry Percy, but I have to go meet with Katie." She said.

"Okay bye." I said.

"Bye lov-. See your tomorrow." She said and quickly exited out. What was that all about?

Annabeth's POV.

"Okay, yeah so you can sing, you liar!" Katie shouted. I shrugged my shoulders.

"I didn't lie. I told you that I didn't know if I could." I corrected her.

"Well yeah, but still... Omg you have to start working on a song Asap." She said. I groaned. This is so much work. I could have been eating chips right now and watching Netflix, but noooo. I agreed to this stupid thing.

"Well I like that song called Love myself by Hailee Steinfield. Yeah, I'll do that song." I said.

"Okay we got you, but what about me?" She asked.

"Hold on let me put on my thinking cap for a sec." I said. She rolled her eyes.

"Well...what do you got?" She asked.

"So you're horrible at singing, no offense. Um...can you play an instrument?" I questioned. Her eyes lit up.

"Oh, yeah I can. I can play the flute. I've been playing since I was 3." She said. I nodded.

"Okay then go ahead and do that."
