"Incubus -" Stralight groaned, falling against the wall and looking up to the ceiling.

"Oh, come on." I prompted. "Don't be such a -"

"Fine." He sighed, running a hand down his face. He came over to where I sat on the bed, sitting on the edge as to not crush my legs that were splayed out. "I knew all along that that's something -"

"Something I'd pull out from you? Well, duh. I'm a demon - I'm supposed to be manipulative and forceful if I want something." I looked at him like he had grown a pair of antlers - which wasn't that all uncommon in my world. "Now...tell me."

"Okay, okay." He said, gesturing to make me calm down. My interest was piqued too high for even Starlight, apparently. "But - we're not allowed to talk about it - soIcanttellyou." He said in a rush. I stared at him and then shook my head smiling faintly.

"Seriously?" I asked. "You're the damn Prince of Hell, Starlight! I know that if was in your place, I'd throw out that stupid rule and just tell you!" I said as I threw my hands up, showing how annoyed I was getting. "Who's gonna hear you anyway? There are no demons here except you and me. And I'll probably forget everything you tell me by tomorrow anyway, so you don't have to worry about me spilling the beans."

"I..." Starlight started, sounding very unsure of himself. It was like he was the younger one and not me. "He'll hear. You and I both know he will - somehow."

"What's he gonna do about it? Come rushing out of the gates to drag you back down?" My sarcasm was returning in full force. I just couldn't handle going a few minutes without it - it would probably be fatal to me if I tried. "And even if he can hear us, what makes you think he isn't listening to us right now?"

"Well -"

"And is he can hear us right now, what's he doing? That's right - nothing." I cut Starlight off. I was getting impatient with him and I didn't want to stick around him much longer. Basically, I was using him to tell me the hot, juicy gossip.

"Okay!" He held up his hands, shushing me. "I'll tell you, okay? Just...quit it. Gosh, you really are manipulative. Even for a demon."

"Just talk." I said flatly.

"There's...someone." Was all Starlight said to me. I stared at him, waiting and urging him with my eyes to carry on. He didn't get the hint.

"Oh for the love of all that's pure and disgustingly good, just fücking tell me!" I yelled at the top of my lungs. He windows in the room blew out, shattering like they did in those cheesy movies. The lights flickered and I could already hear thunder in the distance.

"What...was that?" Asked Starlight, looking from the broken window and distant clouds that flashed with lightening - which were getting closer - to me.

"I...don't know." I said, staring down at my hands that were laying on the bed, at my sides. My fingertips had turned a light shade of blue and my veins had turned into black lace that spidered all along my hand, only beginning to fade around the middle of my forearm.

"You mean this is new?"

"Can I control the weather?" I said, excitement too evident in my voice. I sounded like a little boy even to my own ears. "I like this..."

"No. Maybe...it's something else." Starlight said, doubt written all over his face. I decided to prove him wrong.

As I grinned from ear to ear, breathing in slow and deep, I stared outside at the dark clouds who had moved to just outside the window. It's like they were waiting there, in the dark sky, for me to command them.

So I did.

I slowly brought my gaze back to Starlight, who had been staring at me with concern and uneasiness. I winked at him.

Rain began to pour inside the room and all around outside. It pounded against the hardwood floor, the side of the house, and the cement outside.

"Incubus!" Starlight yelled. "Stop! I believe you!"

"Watch this!" I yelled back above the sound of the rain. The wind began to howl like forgotten souls of the damned as I slowly raised my arms. My hair was sticking to my temples and cheeks with the rain and Starlight was running to the other side of the room, toward the door. I laughed like a maniac as the wind rose and rose, blowing dead leaves and paper and chairs around the room.

"Incubus! Please stop this!" I heard Starlight scream. I looked over to where he stood - that coward - half inside the room and half out, ready to bolt. I was still sitting in the bed, my legs comfortably spread out under the blanket and my hands raised over my head. The bed began to move, the wind pushing it against a wall. I laughed again, throwing my head back.

"This! Is! Amazing!" I yelled and stopped. The moment I dropped my tired and aching arms, the wind died down. The rain, after a few long minutes, began to calm down before it completely stopped as well. The thunder roared one last time, the clouds giving a flash of white-blue light before they very slowly dissipated as well.

And just like that, I realized how I could rule the world.
