"Ricky... I-I don't know what to say... I mean I thought we were just friends you know-" But before I could even finish he kissed me. I don't know why but I kissed him back. For a second it felt like we were the only two things in this room until we were rudely interrupted by a knock on the door. I pulled away and said "I'll get it." Guess who it was? Sam. And Izzie was with her. No surprise.

"Hey Mandy. What's u-" She stopped when she saw Ricky sitting on the couch. Jealousy filled her eyes.

"What's Ricky doing here?"

"Why is it your business?" I was a little angry too because I saw Izzie behind her. She follows her everywhere.

"Mandy can we talk about this in private?" Before we went up to my room she said, "Iz you can go home."

"Okay, bye." Izzie waved and left. It was pretty evident that Ricky wanted to leave too so I let him go. Then we went upstairs.

"Okay Mandy tell me, and tell me now why Ricky was sitting on your couch."

"Well I'd like to know why you take Isabella everywhere you go and completely forget about me."

"I do not."

"I bet you didn't even notice that I didn't come to your house today or I didn't even walk to class with you. Instead I went with Trey."

"I just wanted to make Izzie feel welcome."

"That doesn't mean you have to exclude me."

"I'm sorry... but I'd still like to know what you were doing with Ricky."

"Why are you so worried I thought you liked that Dillon guy." I saw Sam's expression change from curious to sad.

"How do you know about Dillon?"

"I over heard you and Izzie in History."

"Can you please not mention that name."

"What? What happen?" I said worriedly.

"Dillon was my neighbor and also my old crush when I used to live with next to Izzie. We go way back and I really, really liked him....almost loved him. I just never had theguts to tell him. But we were great friends though that why I thought he might just like me back but then we moved and I thought I'd never see him again and that's when I started liking Ricky..." Now I felt guilty."...but since Izzie moved here I found out Dillon moved too. So when I was at Izzie's house today I decided to tell Dillon how I felt but he turn me down harshly and said he already had a girlfriend. He said it so casual like it was nothing." She was getting more sad by the second and was on the verge of tears. I couldn't help but give her a hug.

"I'm sorry Sam."

"It's okay." She wiped away a tear. "You still didn't answer my question." Uh oh.

"Ricky just came by to say hi."

"That's weird. Why would HE of all people come and to some one's house and say... hi?" Lying is just going to make it worst.

"Okay fine he didn't come to say hi, he came to tell me- You know what tomorrow you go and ask him why he came here."

"Why? You how I get all frozen up when I talk to him."

"Just do it maybe this will build your confidence."

"Okay? If you say so." She looked confused but was able to brush it off. "Why don't we do our homework?"

"Okay." Then we hit the books. I still can't believe the who thing with Ricky but then again he is kinda cute. What am I thinking?! He's Sam's guy and plus I have to obey the friendship rule: Never let a guy... or guys come between us. Never.
