It had already been a full day of the two roaming around, wondering where the hell were they. Laura still had a good amount of money stashed in her jean pocket, but was that enough to catch another taxi and bring this pop-star back home? She sighed, looking up towards the night sky.

Today wasn't one of the hottest days. It was chilly all day, and it was even colder at night. Thankfully, Ross had a sweater to keep him warm, and Laura on the other hand had a light cardigan that didn't help her at all. She shivered and rubbed her hands up and down her arms to at least try to keep her warmer than she is right now.

Ross looked over at her and saw that she was shivering and her lips were turning pale. He immediately took off his light sweater and handed it over to her. Yeah, cliché right? That's what she thought too. She shook her head, refusing to take it from him.

"No, I can't," Laura declined, shaking her head while her teeth were starting to chatter. "If you take off that light sweater and give it to me, then you'll be the cold one, and I don't want that to happen to you. Keep it, I doubt that it's going to make a difference anyways."

Why was she being so stubborn? Was it because he felt bad for the taxi man yesterday? He knows that it was a mistake to feel that way, but he honestly really felt bad for the man. "I insist," He urged, shoving the sweater closer to her.

She shakes her head again and crosses her arms over her chest, hoping that it would help her warm up some more. "And so do I. You're more valuable than I am, just keep it. Please." She stated, not making eye contact with him.

It wasn't like anyone was going to miss her anyways. Her family is far away from her, they have no clue where she's at, and probably don't even care. She barely has any friends, and her sister has moved on with her life. She's married and has a kid.

Nobody needed Laura's help anymore. No one liked Laura. No one wanted anything to do with Laura. And that's why she had to escape from the place she called home, the place where she grew up. It's not liked anyone noticed anyways.

Ross sighed, knowing that he would never get her to wear his sweater. He drew back his hand, placing the sweater back on him while continuing to walk ahead. How much longer where they going to walk? What time was it? Is there a motel somewhere were they can at least spend one night?

Last night, they had to miss their sleep and continue walking. It was dreadful, but neither one of them said a word to each other about how they should really get a motel and sleep. They thought that they would upset the other, since they both really wanted to go home.

He turned to her, raising his eyebrows as she looked up at the night sky. "Hey, if we see a motel or something, can we stop? I think we should get some sleep tonight, and I do not want to sleep out here in this chilly night."

Laura nodded, "Yeah, I was thinking the same thing too. If we had a map or a phone of some sort, we could see where the nearest motel is located."

Ross felt guilty about it, but shrugged it off. Instead, he nodded in agreement and they both headed out to continue their walk to the nearest motel around here. He turned his head to look at her, to see if she was still shivering, but she wasn't. His mouth slightly dropped and eyes widened.

She looked beautiful, staring up at the night sky above them with the chilly wind flowing in her hair. Her eyes were sparkling, her skin seemed to light up. It was a breathtaking sight for Ross, and his eyes couldn't leave her. It was like she was bringing him in.

Her teeth come in contact with her lip, slightly biting on the bottom lip. She brings her hand over to one of her hairs and tucks it behind her ear. Her other free hand runs through her hair, then drops back to her side. Ross didn't seem to blink at all, his eyes basically refused to let him do so.

His face turned red when she turned to look at him, catching him staring at her in the process. He coughs and turns his head slightly so that she couldn't catch him blushing madly. Maybe she won't notice that I stared at her. he thought, refusing to look back at her.

Laura giggled, taking notice of his features. He had nice hair, it almost made her want to go up and run her hands through it. It looked so soft and nice flowing in the wind. His eyes had a yellow fleck, his jawline was broad. You could see his muscles as he unknowingly flexed, stretching his arms out while yawning in the process.

She had to admit, he was a really good-looking guy. When she heard that he had no boyfriend, it caught her off guard. How could such a handsome guy like him not have a special lady in his life? Any girl would be lucky to have him, he was nice and gentle. A girl's wish for a boyfriend.

But Laura would never have a chance with him, even if she does start to have feelings for him. It would never work out with his busy schedule and that little small detail where he's famous and in a really popular band. Of course, she didn't have feelings for him. He was just a really good looking guy, that's all. And the only reason that she was with him was to help him find his family, there would be no one-night stand or anything like that. She was simply helping him.

Her eyes tore away from his muscular body and she gasped, pointing to something ahead of them. "Ross, look!" He looked at her, then followed where her finger was pointing at. Aha! There was a motel, the letters shining in the darkness. The two smiled at each other and made their way over to the motel.

Laura started digging into her pockets, grabbing a few dollars as they reached the main entrance. There was an old man behind the counter, almost falling asleep. Ross rang the bell and awoke him before he could fall asleep on them.

The two ordered separate rooms, but to their luck, there was only one room to spare. Laura's eyes widened as she looked at Ross. Who would take the room? Would they have to share the room together? How awkward would that be? They barely know each other.

"We'll take it," Ross nodded, feeling determined. He was really tired, and the last thing he wanted to do is argue with Laura about who's getting the room. Plus, they wouldn't do anything, right? They didn't like each other like that. Ross just thought she was a really pretty and nice girl, and Laura thought that he was a handsome, sweet gentleman.

They made their way up the stairs and unlocked the room. There was no couch, but there was luckily two. Damn the old man who forgot to add that small detail! She giggled and jumped onto the bed, smiling.

"God, I've missed sleeping on a bed," Laura whispered as Ross began taking off his sweater. He wasn't going to take off his clothes, he knew it would be really awkward, and that was not his intention.

He turned to look at the clock. It read one-thirty a.m. "We should get some sleep. Goodnight, Laura." She agreed and said, "Night," Then they both fell into a deep slumber.
