Chapter 21 - Skype

"So...this Saturday... Are you guys available?" Kai asked.

"I'm available." Baekhyun replied
"Nothing on schedule." Suho said.
"Nope. Nothing to do on Saturday." Xiumin said.
"I'm always available." DO said.
"I was planning to come by and visit anyway." Lay said.
"Not much to do." Kris said.
"Hmm...this Saturday...I'm in." Tao said.
"I'm available anytime." Chanyeol said.
"I'm in." Luhan said.

Kai smiled at them through Skype.
"How about you, Jongdae?"

"I am." Chen replied.

"But what's the reason?" Chanyeol asked.
"Well....you see....this Saturday is my friends birthday. She never had a birthday party in her entire life and I want all of you to come to Seoul and meet her." Kai replied.

"Are you talking about Ariel Lin?" Lay asked.

"Eh?! You know her, Yixing?" Luhan asked.
"Ne, I haven't seen her since she was 4. She's like a sister to me." Lay replied.

Kai felt relieved though, because he thought Lay would fall for her as well.

"So, anyway...how is she, Kai?" Lay asked.
"She's doing fine." Kai replied.

"Is she still living with her father?" Suho asked.
"Ani." Kai replied.

"Where did she live? Don't tell me you bought her a apartment." Baekhyun said.

"Aniyo." Kai said.
"If Ariel doesn't live with her father, or live on her own...she must've went to Busan, where her aunt lives." Lay said.

"Aniyo." Kai replied, smiling.
"Yah! If you want us to meet her, we have to know where she lives!" Chanyeol snapped.

Kai chuckled at them.
"She's living with me." He said.

"MWOH?!" They exclaimed.

"She's living with you?!" DO exclaimed.
"You guys haven't done anything right?" Suho asked.

"If you hurt her, Kai. I won't hesitate to punch you in the face!" Lay shouted.

"You're so naughty, Kai." Baekhyun said.

"Yah! It's not what you think." Kai said.
"What does she look like anyway?" Xiumin asked.
"I hope she likes Gucci, like me." Tao said.
"Wonder if she's beautiful?" Chen asked.

Kai felt like his going to snap since they're all talking at once.

"Yah! I will never to do anything dirty to her. And why would I do that?! I'm not like a pervert like Bakehyun Hyung. I may look like one but I'm not. And yes, she's beautiful as a princess and I always have the urge to kiss her since we both never had our fist kiss!" He snapped.

Then silence between all 12 boys in Skype.

"You...." Chanyeol trailed off.
"Like...." Luhan trailed off.
"Her?!" They all exclaimed.

Kai realized what he said. He then starts blushing three shades of red.

"Oh~ Kai is in love!!!" Baekhyun said.

"Y-Yah!" Kai stuttered.
"Now I can't wait to there. We can tease Kai and Ariel." Chanyeol said.

"Yep! Well, I got to go. See you all there!" Suho said.

"Ne!"

Everyone hung up except for Lay.
"Kai...you like her?" He asked.

Kai gulped and looked down. Lay smiled at that because that might be a yes.

"Take care of her." Lay said.
"Eh?" Kai asked looking up on the screen again.

"Ariel deserves to have someone to love her. I was there for her, but then I have to go back to China to help my mother's cafe. But it looks like she needs you the most." Lay said.

"I will treat her well, Hyung." Kai said.
Lay nodded.

"I'll see you on Saturday then." He said.
"Ne, annyeong!" Kai said.
"Annyeong."

They both hung up and Kai let out a sigh.

I thought I was done for. He thought.
