-Flash back to the year 843-

"Wow (Y/N), you were great out there!" Isabelle chimed as she leaped onto your back pulling you down to the ground.
Furlan laughed at the both of you, as you fought Isabelle off of you.
"Isabelle, I'm not your friend so get off!" She cried out as you pushed her off of you.
"You basically are though," Isabelle stated as she picked herself up, "with how often you help us out, and, not to mention how you and my big brother are totally in love with each other!" She was still smiling at you like an idiot.
Groaning you got up and brushed yourself off, Isabelle would always say stupid things like that to get on your nerves.
You looked up at Levi, "When am I getting my share?" You asked bluntly.
Levi clicked his tongue and continued walking back to his place.
He's so annoying, you thought as you turned to Furlan, "Hey, make sure he remembers to pay me this time."
Furlan nodded and you all parted ways.
On your walk home you started thinking about what Isabelle said, There's no way I could ever love someone like that. Even if he was sort of attractive...

When you got home it was late, even for a seasoned criminal like yourself. You quickly bathed and got a quick bite to eat. You lived alone, so you normally had day old bread or something your downstairs neighbour brought up for you. She was a nice old lady that you hated to see stuck in a place like this.
When you finished eating you went to bed, you wanted to put this job behind you like you did with every job. You didn't like bring a criminal, but it was the only way you would ever be able to save up enough to live above ground.
Suddenly, you heard creaking coming from outside your bedroom.
Great some assholes trying to rob me, You thought to yourself. Before you could get out of bed to kick who ever idiot was out of your house the bedroom door bursted open.
"Oi, (L/N)." Levi's voice called bellowing out as he walked into your room.
You jump and pull your covers over your chest, "What the hell Levi?!"
He ignored you and threw a large some of money at you, "Your payment for tonight."
You picked up the money and quickly counted it. Yep, all there. You looked back up to thank him but he was gone. With that you got out of bed, locked your front door again then went back to bed.
I'm too tired for this shit... You thought as you drifted back to sleep.

The next morning you got a knock at your door. Groaning you slowly got up, put a robe on then walked cursing under your breath towards your front door. When you opened it you were straddled to see Kenny Ackerman smiling down at you.
"Hey there little lady." He said letting himself in.
"What do you want, Shit face?" You asked with a hiss. Kenny, was Levi's foster parent or something, you weren't really sure what they were to each other. All you knew was you hated his guts, you didn't know why, but you just got a bad vibe off of him.
Kenny got comfy on your couch and kept his eyes on you. He gestured to the  empty spot next to him, still giving you his creepy smile.
Knowing full well Kenny's of reputation you just stood in front of his with your arms crossed.
Kenny rolled his eyes then put his feet up on your coffee table, "So," he started, "I have this job coming up in a few days, and I was wondering if you were interested in getting your hands a little dirty?"
"No." You said bluntly.
Kenny chuckled, "Thought you'd say that." He leaned forwards, "Well, hear me out first, alright?"
"No." You repeated yourself.
Kenny then got up and walked towards you, stopping about a foot away from you. He smiled down at you then asked, "What if I told you that this job would insure you a ticket aboveground, would you be interested then?"
You thought about it for a second, then looked Kenny dead in the eyes, "What do I have to do?"
Kenny just smiled.
