"So the plan is to go to the party and-"

"Yeah. That's basically it." I replied laughing.

Abigail and I were sat on my bed sorting through sheets of notes.

"So yesterday you kissed Chris. Chris Willow. In front of the whole school." She asked. I rolled my eyes

"Not the whole school Abigail."

"And then for the first time in months Chris didn't eat lunch with Olivia and he drove off after school without giving her a lift?" Abigail asked reading one of the pages of notes. I nodded.

"And she passed you..." she rummaged around on the bed searching for the small scrap of paper "this note that says 'Game on bitch' today." I nodded enthusiastically.

It all started on Monday and it was now Tuesday evening. I'd spent the last two days avoiding Chris and Olivia, asking everyone else I came in contact with to tell me everything about them. So far I'd learnt that everyone loved Chris, and Olivia was pretty much just a bitch.

"So you have to find a way to make her walk away from him? Is there no way he'll just leave her for you?"

"No. She'll try everything to get him back. Look here, David from English said 'Olivia usually guilts Chris into doing things for her', he basically said he's too much of a nice guy." I said pointing to a sheet of paper in front of Abigail.

Today Olivia had been using 'slut tactics' as Abigail referred to them, to try and win Chris over. Basically it involved bending over in front of him and pushing her breasts out when squeezing past him in the corridor.

Luckily I found out earlier today that there was a party tomorrow night in which Chris would definitely be going to. I managed to get an invite from a couple of guys that Abigail knew.

"My plan is basically to wear something super sexy and distract him the whole night long." I said grinning.

"You've still got a half day of school and afternoon of sports with him to get through before that."

"I know. I have a few ideas but I'm just planning on getting through the day. Bring on the evening! You sure you can't come?" I asked Abigail who just shook her head.

After trying on some dresses with Abigail scoring them out of 10, she headed home. I managed to fit some studying into the evening and spend over an hour on the phone to my best friend Laura. Relatively speaking I'd had a good day, in spite of the few missed calls from a certain Michael who I never want to hear from again (my bastard ex boyfriend).

I ignored them. I can't wait for tomorrow and nothing is going to ruin it.

"I can't believe how sunny it is out today! I really don't want the guys to see me sweat!" some girl behind me in the changing room moaned.

"Oh c'mon Chelsea, they'll be on the other field, they won't even notice you. We're only running track; I'll jog with you if you want."

I was stood on my own, changing in the corner of the room. Girls seemed to be scared of talking to and approaching me, fearing that Olivia would kill them.

Speak of the devil.

In she walked, wearing a hot pink sports bra and baggy jogging bottoms. Two of her friends walked in with her.

"Oh look, Gemma, that's the skank Amber I was telling you about." She laughed.

I pulled off my jogging bottoms revealing my tight, black Lycra shorts which I had teamed with a white vest.
