The next morning, I sat up slowly and stretched but it really hurt."Ow!" but I covered my mouth since I didn't wanna wake up Yang. I sat on the end of my bed and looked around the room. Ruby was sleeping, softly snoring, Weiss was sleeping in complete silence and Yang had her leg gaming off her bed.
It was actually cute. I stood slowly and looked up at her on her bed, her face slightly smushed and her snoring. Her gold hair almost covered her face. I smiled at her sleeping face and suddenly, she started groaning and moving.
[¥] Yang's Dream [¥]
I see my mother, holding me. She wraps my hair in pigtails around her finger as she smiles at me. Me, me current self looks at my past and is suddenly consumed by darkness."Mom?" I ask but I only hear a faint voice."Yang...come here..."
So I walk forward and see a small light. I start to run towards it and see a flash before seeing Ruby wanting me to pick her up. She was so small and still wore that red hood.
Then the image switches to what happened yesterday.
"Maybe you haven't found her yet because she's dead somewhere!" Blake yells at me. Then an image flashes twice, the image of my mother on the ground with her eyes open and covered in blood with a Beowulf right beside her and roaring.
"MOM!" I shouted.
[¥] Yang (awake) [¥]
I lay on my back kicking and screaming, wanting to run to my mom.
"Yang! Yang, stop screaming and wake up!!!" I heard Ruby call. I sit up quickly, breathing hard and sweating a little."Yang, are you okay?" Blake's soft voice asked me. I turned to her, her sad and worry filled eyes staring up at me. I growled and yanked my arm from her grip.
"Don't touch me!" I yelled and punched her on top of her head."Yang, why'd you do that?!" Weiss yelled."It was a reflex." I grumbled and jumped down from my bed.
"What's wrong with you? Why are you being-"
"What's wrong with me? What's wrong with Blake?! I'm sure she has a big enough mouth to tell you!!!" I shouted and slammed the door with all the strength I could muster. Which was a lot, even though I had just woken up.
[*] Blake [*]
I sat on the floor with both hands on the top of my head, staring at the door."Blake," Ruby said, kneeling down in front of me. I looked at her silver eyes, showing much concern for her sister and me. Probably even our whole team.
"Please, you have to tell us what happened. Not even I believe that you just fell and fractured your rib cage and Yang's mad out of nowhere. Tell me what happened." she said. Weiss sat next to me and looked at me, her eye flicking between me and Ruby, wondering who will speak again first.
I sighed and dropped my hands to the floor but picked up my left hand to hold my side."She kicked me." I said.
"What?" Weiss questioned."She was talking to me and I said I understood what she was trying to say. But I hardly played attention because I wanted to get back to what I was doing. She told me about how she'd been looking for her mom and I suddenly snapped. I don't know where it came from but it just bursted out of me as if they weren't even my words." I explained.
"What did you say to her?" Ruby asked. I closed my eyes momentarily.
[¥] Yang [¥]
I rinsed my face with water and dried with my cloth. I look at my face in the mirror, my red angry eyes still glowing.
'I love you. But you really messed up. Stupid cat.' I mentally growled."Hello, Yang." I heard a friendly voice."Hey, Phyrra." I answered, not looking up at her."Is something wrong?" she asks.
"...I don't wanna talk about it." I closed my eyes and huffed."Maybe I can help. As your friend, I demand you tell me." she said and my eyes glow again. I pushed myself off the sink and faced her angrily."You wanna say that again?!" I challenged.
She stared with wide eyes for a second."Coming Jaune! Hope you feel better." she said, rushing out the bathroom. I rolled my red eyes and leaned in the sink again before looking up at my reflection.
"Blake..." I mumbled to myself. I heard soft foot steps enter the bathroom and I narrowed my eyes to the door. It was Blake, and she stopped with her right foot forward to stare at me.
My eyes lit up red once again and I released a low growl.
[*] Blake [*]
I heard Yang's low growl and it made my heart beat faster. I swallowed hard and made my way to the shower. As the water ran down, I untied the ribbon that formed my bow and hung in on the hook beside me.
My cat ears drooped and I hung my head in shame.'Why did I say that? Now she hates me. She'll never love me now. And maybe I even jinxed her mom.' I thought. I started crying but I couldn't tell the difference between to shows water and the tears as they both fell on the floor and down the drain.
"I am a terrible person." I said aloud to myself. I finished my shower after washing and went back to the room, immediately falling asleep.
