"y- you do?" I ask surprised
"Yes! I like you but i didnt want to tell you because we have a strong friendship!" He explains
I cant believe he likes me! I feel so happy!
For once a guy actually wants me in his life but more then a friend!
"Its fine! really" I assure him
"it is? but.." He stops
I step closer to him and kiss him on the cheek.
" I like you too:)" I tell him.
I cant help myself from smiling.
It feels like I just made everthing better.
It also feels like my cheeks will fall off if i keep smiling.
Finally, I force myself to stop. I mean, to stop smiling so hard.
He is smiling too. I just love his sweet grin.
I hear a door opening downstairs. Oh, my dad........
OH! MY DAD!
He comes right upstairs into my doorway.
"Wheres Gabby?" He asks looking around.
"At Swimming" "At Soccer" We say at the same time.
"What?"
"Swimming!" Josh lets me say.
"ok! What are you kids up to?" He asks
"Nothin" I say.
"hanging" Josh adds
"Alright! Well ill be in the office!" My dad yells out
He starts heading downstairs
"That was kind of close!" Josh says
"Yeah." Im releived my dad didnt have a clue of what happened
"Am,I know why Your eyes turn blue"
" hah I firgured"
"They still are" He smiles
" I'm still thinking about you" I smile back.
"I should go now" he says "Dont want to miss baseball!"
"Ok!" I say
I can just imagine him playing baseball.
He would be so cute.
We walk downstairs together and i open the door for him and he walks out and gets on his bike.
"Bye! I smile and wave
he turns his head to wave and im about to close the door when i notice road cones right ahead of him.
I quickly open the door and run down the out dorr sstairs.
"Josh!" I yell " Stop!!!"
It all hapens so quick.
He looks ahead and his bike tire gets stuck in the cone and his bike fips over and hits the ground.
Josh Managed to get off except I can see that his foot is stilll by the bike.
I realize my hands are over my mouth as i watched in pain.
