It's hard being second best. Having the person that he loves most, loves best in his life, treat him like he's everything when everyone else has disappeared into the background. It's difficult when he wants to reach out and take and take and take but can't. He can't because it's not wanted, not needed. And when he is needed, he doesn't even have the right then because it's his turn to take and take instead.
