"HAPPY BIRTHDAY, TAYLOR!!" Kenzie screamed, running to me and giving me a hug.

"Thanks girl!" I said.

"Why don't you take Kenzie to the back where everyone else is." My dad suggested.

"Okay come on Kenzie." I giggled, grabbing her hand and dragging her to the back of my house where Megan, Belle and everyone else who was at my party were waiting.

"What do you want to play?" I asked everyone.

"FREEZE TAG!!" Everyone yelled, knowing that was my favorite game.

My dad split us all into teams and we played more rounds then I could count. So I'll just say that we just played until we were tired.

"Guys, time for cake." My mom said. Bringing out the big vanilla cake. I was the first one in my seat at the table. Everyone else followed.

Everyone was just about to sing happy birthday to me when it was interrupted by the arrival of Michael, Ashton, Calum, and my crush.. Luke. I've had a huge crush on this boy since the first day of preschool. He was just so cute!

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY, TAYLOR!!" Calum shouted.. Obviously disrupting the whole neighborhood but I didn't care. Im just happy that he came as well as the rest of the boys. I got up and ran into his arms.

"Thank you so much for coming." I said.

"Well why wouldn't we come?" Ashton asked.

"Yeah. There's cake. I love cake.. Wait there's cake.. Right?" Michael asked.

"Yes Michael." I giggled.

"Yaaaaay!!!" He yelled, running over to the cake and stuffing his face with MY cake.

"Wait... Was this for you?.." He asked, mouth full of cake.

"Yeah but it's fine." I giggled.

"Oh okay!" He smiled, digging into the cake again.

After cake (yes my mom had to bake another one) and ice cream, we decided to play hide and seek in my house. The parents stayed outside and we were inside.

We play hide and seek differently then you do now. You split up boys verses girls but the girls nominate one girl to be the seeker and the boys do the same. So whoever is nominated as seeker has to find all the hiders (including the other gender) and if the two seekers cross paths, they can choose whether or not to help each other find all the hiders.

"Hey, Taylor. I think you should go first." Megan said.

"Why me?" I asked.

"Because it's your birthday, silly. Birthday girl first." Belle giggled.

"Okay fine." I said. I turned around to face the wall and shut my eyes tight.

"Ready boys!?!?" I heard Kenzie yell.

"Yeah! We're ready!" I heard my best friend Evan, call from another room.

"Counters count to 30!" Kenzie yelled.

"Ready.... Set.... Go!" Belle yelled.

All I heard was a roar of foot steps, and giggles. Then everything was quiet.

I began silently counting to 30 in my head.

"Ready or not here I come." I said and began hunting down the hiders.

I looked everywhere but they were no where to be found.

"Where are they?" I wondered to myself. I walked backwards till I hit someone. I almost let out a scream. I guess I scared them too because we both turned around quickly, hands up.

"Taylor?" He asked. It was Luke.

"Oh. Luke.. Um... Uh... You scared me." I said, turning away so he couldn't see the fact that I was turning an un normal shade of red.

"Yeah lol. You scared me too..." He said, his voice trailing off.

I turned to face him to see that his face was an abnormal shade of red to.

"So um...." He said, but couldn't seem to finish his sentence and I didn't know what to say. We just stood In awkward silence.

"Just kiss her already!!" I heard Evan call from the behind the couch.

"Oh I see what this is about & Evan.. I found you!" I said.

"Dang it." He said, showing himself and standing there and staring at Luke and I with a huge smile on his face.

"Evan.. You're supposed to go to jail." I said.

"I know. I will. As soon as you and Luke smoochie." He said, making the kissy face.

"Uhhhhh...." I said.

"Awww!!! Come on, Taylor! Just do it!!" Everyone else said, coming out of their hiding places.

"Oh.. I see your plan, you put Luke and I together on purpose." I crossed my arms.

"Oh come on Taylor! You have like the biggest crush on him!" Kenzie said.

"Come on Tay! Just do it!" Everyone yelled.

I realized that Luke was a blushing mess.

"I DARE you to kiss Luke." Belle said, smirking.

"Oh so you DARE me, do you?" I re crossed my arms.

"Yep. I DARE you." She smirked again.

"I bet you won't." Megan smiled.

"Oh no you didn't." I growled.

"YOU WONT! YOU WONT! YOU WONT!!" Everyone cheered.

"FINE! ILL DO IT!" I yelled, grabbing Luke and kissing him. Everyone started cheering. I was about to pull away when Luke wrapped his arms around me and pulled me closer, deepening the kiss...
