Kaya hoped into the car with her mom and Snow. The van followed behind them. Kaya held back tears and hugged Snow tightly. Kaya's mom pulled up at the shelter and put Snow outside. Then they drove off. The drive was painful and silent. Kaya got cozy for the first hour. They walked into McDonald's and ate there.

Snow hopped onto a truck and climbed into the back. She rode in the back, the wind blowing through her fuzzy coat and her tongue flapping in the wind. She was determined to find Kaya. I'm coming for you. I want you as much as you want me. I'm coming, Kaya. Just hold on. It will only take at least a week. I'll find a way to get to you. I promise!

Kaya finished her meal and they went back into the car. Snow's car pulled into McDonald's and she leaped out and began following Kaya's car. They pulled onto the freeway, and Snow couldn't keep up. She turned into and exit. Their car became out of sight. Snow whined.

Snow jumped onto a pulled over van and then took a leap of faith onto a truck. She hopped on and rode behind Kaya. She ran onto the hood of the car, unable to contain her excitement. The driver slammed on the brakes. Snow fell off. Ow! I'm just trying to get to my owner! Can anyone help me out here? Snow howled in pain but continued to run behind Kaya. Her paw was broken, and she limped along weakly.

Kaya pulled up at a hotel. She signed in a and fell asleep. Snow collapsed in someone's front yard, being spotted by a dog catcher. He ran at her and scooped her up in his net. Snow bit the man and he dropped her. Snow ran as fast as her now three legs could carry her. Her paw was sore and swollen but she continued to run. The man caught up to her. "Your coming with me" he said, and they drove off.

Snow woke up in a small room with pictures of cats and dogs with pins in them, and lines scribbled on their faces. On one picture, it was a picture of Snow. Kaya's dog. Snow stared at it confused, and then the catcher walked in.

"We have been looking all over for you Snow. And now look, I have you right here."

Snow whined. She just wanted Kaya. She continued to stare at the wall, but the catcher's gaze burned into Snow as he stared at her.

"We're gonna make a million."
