"Knuck? Let me get some more on that pitch."

Giving me a thumbs up, I nodded to the sound that was filling my ears through the headphones, I was in the studio recording music for my new album. Finishing that song, we moved on and did three others, adjusting music and lyrics in the mix.

"Wassup man?"

Putting my attention on the window, Kevin walked in. Removing the headphones, I walked out, dapped him before sitting next to my producer.

"What you doing here man?" I asked.

"Waiting on Keira." He shook his head as he sat. "She's supposed to be dropping her car off to service across the street." He answered.

"Nigga doing his big bro duties huh?" Knuck joked.

"Yeah man. That lil sis regardless."

"Y'all are complete opposites. How the hell did y'all momma deal with that?"

"Easy. She teared our asses UP!" He exclaimed on the up.

"Oh shit!" I let out as we laughed.

"But don't get it twisted, Keira and our momma are both one and the same and I got our pops calm disposition."

"So shit was balanced." I said as we nodded.

"Exactly. And thank you again for settling shit with you and her."

"You and baby sis were beefing?" Knuck asked.

"Something like that, but we cool now."

"Well that's good."

As we continued talking, my brother showed up, being his usual unnecessarily hyped self. Not too long after Keira came in. Acknowledging everyone, she then asked her brother for the keys to his Jeep. Tossing it to her, she caught it, said her goodbyes and went and waited on him.

"E, man." Travis spoke. "I'm not going to lie, your sister is fine."

"Travis chill." I told him.

"What?" He looked at me. "She's a beautiful girl and Ion mind getting lah acquainted." He smirked.

"You can't be serious right now?" I asked.

"What?" He questioned.

"That's the man's sister. We all know your track record bro. Don't even go there." I shook my head.

"Exactly. Plus, my sister would eat you alive. You ain't built for her, nor her type."

"Shit, and how do you know?"

"Her nigga back in Cali ain't no regular ass nigga."

"Damn. She gets down like that."

"Keira likes what she likes and one of those likes is a nigga who can protect her even though she knows how to take care of herself but you." He pointed at Travis. "Need to stay away from my sister."

"What man? You'on want us to be in laws?" He laughed.

"Nah nigga."

"I'm just saying."

"You need to stop saying." I spoke up.

"Man I'm your brother. Why you blocking?" He asked me.

"Because I ain't about to let you fuck up my business and friendship. I love you, you're my brother, but you a reckless nigga."
