In her case, her parents proved that "opposites attract." Her father was a country boy from MacDill, Kentucky with a hard, southern accent. He had strawberry hair and he had facial hair. A mustache and a full grown beard. Something and probably the first thing that attracted him to her. He was over weight but that's what you get when you eat cornbread and collard greens just about everyday. He had a liver transplant in 1984 and was pretty healthy. That was then. As for her mother, she was a brat. Not a "prissy little girl" brat. A military brat. Air Force to be exact. She was born in South Dakota but her father was in the Air Force so they travelled around the world to different bases. Germany being her favorite. She started wearing glasses when she was twelve and her glasses always matched her chocolate brown hair. She was somewhat strict but never demanded much from anyone. She just went to work, came home, took care of her kids, went to bed and did it all over again the next day.

They both had recently moved to Ohio. Her father saw her once and never let her go. Their first date was at McDonalds. They each had a big mac and shared a large fry, and each had a large sweet tea of course. After that date, they didn't do much. But her father was persistent in parking in her mother apartment parking spot everyday. So her mother came home everyday from work only to find his large white van, decked out with bull horns, parked in her spot. She asked him to move, and everyday, he did. Then he left to Florida, leaving her behind. She unexpectedly got a call oone day and it was him. He proposed to her over the phone and she said yes. He then proceeded to ask her if she would move to Florida with him and before he could finish, she blurt in and exclaimed,"When do we leave?!"

And that was that. They were wed in 1997 and they became Mr. and Mrs. Bentley.
