Seduce and Revenge

Chapter I

"May I have this dance?" he asked with a smile of doubt. He always trusted himself, but this one was different.

A masquerade ball filled with mysterious characters in suit, in gown, some better, some worse, but as she looked at this character in front of her, she couldn't help but give in. "My pleasure" she uttered, standing up.

The music started to play, and everything was in harmony. They stared at the eye of the other, his, almond brown, hers, gray. Her lips looked soft and his was hot red, he let out a smile seeing her stare at his lips, and he lifts his hand allowing her to turn around. Her moves mesmerized him, she reached out back at him,

"H-hey, you okay?" she asked confusingly, wondering why he stopped.

"Y-yeah. I-I'm sorry, it's just that you're so beautiful. I'm stunned" his words made her smile, as if she wasn't believing it. She's heard it a lot, but she just don't want to be part of a classic paranoia. "You don't believe me?" he asked while bending her. Her smile disappeared by the awkward position.

"It's not that I don't" she said, standing with an eyebrow up, "I just hear it too often".

He just allowed his lips to do the gesture, kissed her hand "Revenge, my name's Revenge", he said with a polite sound, and the crowd disintegrated as the music shifted.

"I'm seduced" he heard, and he couldn't help but throw his head back as he let out a laugh. "I wasn't trying to seduce you-, or", and she cut him by saying, "I said, my name's Seduce, ugh!" and that's it, the moment was ruined as Seduce walked away from Revenge. "Wai-wait, Oh God, that's not what I meant" he chased her through the crowd and the night started.

"How can he have such hilarious name and I couldn't?" Seduce told herself. She picks up her long wide dress and accelerated her pace through the same wide staircase, pissed off.

"Seduce!" Revenge shouted. She heard him but she just glanced back and walked even faster. Knowing the place, Revenge went the other way to catch up with her and surprised her, "There you are", she screamed and was about to fall but Revenge got him in hand, "Gotcha!" he said with a smile as she pulled her closer.

Their eyes met for the second time, and it seemed even better. "Why do you have to be so uptight?" Revenge said in a husky voice not losing the grin, it made her swallow.

"It's not my fault and you know that", and she tries to breathe.

The trumpets played and the crowd made way for whoever those people were, suddenly the room was silent. Among them, a lady in red, and she was so elegant, "Thank you everyone for coming tonight. Please, enjoy the party!" she said, and walked through as how the fun resumed.
