Its after 8th period and everyone is leaving to go home because its finally friday. so I'm at my locker putting my books and stuff away and I hear my name so I look up and its ray

ray: did you drive to school today? 

me: nope, I rode with prod 

ray: oh, so when my baby coming back up here 

I look away from my locker at him frowning my eyebrows in a confused look 

me: who's your baby? 

ray: shonique 

I laugh 

me: I don't know, call her and ask her

And I close my locker

me: you ready to go? 

ray: yea, let's go 

and we walk to the school bus and on our way down the stairs I see Abby sitting on the stairs reading a book and I nudge ray to get his attention and he looks at me and I look over to her so he can see what I was talking about and I stop and post up against the wall and he walks over to her and sits by her. I don't know what was going on but I saw her look up and roll her eyes and tries to get up but ray grabs her and pulls her back down and they start talking and I guess he apologized to her because she starts to smile and says I forgive you ray and they hug and he gets up and says bye Abby and she says bye ray and then she looks at me and says 

Abby: hey your jade right? 

me: yea... how do you.... know who I am? 

Abby: your new, and everyone says your cute 

me: Who me? 

I point to myself and Abby laughs 

abby: yes you 

me: oh, thanks

ray: see you around Abby, come on Jade 

me: bye Abby 

and she waves and me and ray walk off and walk on the school bus and he sits next to me 

me: people think I'm pretty? 

ray: jade your saying it like your ugly or something 

me: but I am, I'm atrocious 

ray laughs 

me: I'm serious 

ray: no your not, if you were ugly would TK be dating you 

me: its luck 

ray: if you were ugly I wouldn't claim you as my sister jay

my jaw drops and we both start laughing 

me: OK I must not be ugly then 

ray shakes his head, so we ride the bus all the way to my house and we go in 

me: bew bew I'm home 

ray laughs and I laugh back 

me: what's funny? 

ray: who's your bew? 

then we walk into the dining room to see my mom on her laptop doing work 

me: hey bew, what you doing? 

and I look at the computer screen and its a hotel site looking at expensive rooms 

mom: nothing
