Percy POV
"Percy, I want you to meet your new baby sister, Niome" (A.N like the wife from Wolf on wall street, but not a whore) my mom told me "wha-when-huh?" I stuttered "she was born a couple of weeks ago, I wanted to iris message you but I was drowsy from the medication" she said "that's ok" I told her, Paul got up from the couch and walked over to me "wanna hold her?" he asked "of course" I said eagerly. Paul placed her in my arms and I got a good look at her, she had Paul's eyes and my moms hair, I smiled at her and she giggled "I think she likes you" Paul said "you two will get along great" my mom said, suddenly a terrible realization hit me "I can't stay" I said "what, why not?" mom asked "mom, Ive already put you, Paul, and Niome in danger just by being here, imagine how many monsters will come here if I stay here for too long, I can't put any of you at risk" I said, hanging Niome back to Paul "Percy we'll be fine, we could move closer to camp, or maybe Chiron can let us stay in the Big House" mom offered "that's the thing, sit down, I'll tell you why I can't go to camp" I said while ushering her to the couch
1 hour later
"i-i can't believe they did that, especially your father, how could he?" she asked herself "it's what the gods do, they take whatever help they can get and take all the credit, and when they don't need you, they toss you aside like garbage" I said angrily "Percy I'm so sorry" Paul said "it's fine, I'll get by on my own" I said "Percy you're not going off on your own, monsters will constantly be chasing you" my mom said, trying to convince me to stay "I'd rather have that then put my family in danger, I'm leaving" I said "Percy please, we'll get by" mom said desperately "Sally, I know you're worried about him, but he's strong, he'll be fine" Paul said "Paul! Are you serious? He'll die out there on his own!" my mom said furiously "Sally, he has a point, I can't put our child at risk, I know Percy will be in danger out there but he knows how handle himself" Paul replied "mom, I going, that's final" I said sternly "but Percy i-i can't let you-oh fine, you win" she gave in, I gripped her shoulders gently "don't worry about me, I'll be fine" I reassured her "I know, but I can't help but worry" she said, she was starting to cry "don't worry, I'll be back, eventually" I said, I then walked over to Paul and took Niome out of his arms and into mine "you be good ok, I'll see you again" I told her as I tickled her belly, she giggled and grabbed my finger, Paul then picked her up "I gotta go, I've been here for too long as it is" I said as I picked up my bag and headed toward the door "Percy, I love you" my mom said as I was about to leave "I love you too" I said before closing the door
Several hours later (Appalachian mountains) Percy POV
It's been about 5 hours since I left and monsters haven't left me alone since. I was running out of energy and more monsters just kept coming. I kept running until I hit a dead end 'crap' I thought "well, if im going down, im going down fighting" I said in a challenging voice, the monsters circled me, I saw hell hounds, dracnae, telkines, and the Minotaur. I was about to attack when a black hole opened and the monsters ran off, someone then stepped out of the hole, he was wearing a black trench coat, black pants, in fact all his clothing was black, he was about 5'11 with pitch black hair and extremely pale skin, I got a better look at him when he looked me in the eyes, his eyes seemed to have galaxies in them "Perseus Jackson, I am Chaos, creator of the universe and everything in it" he said, I instantly bowed on one knee (A.N sounds like he's gonna propose lol) and lowered my head "Lord Chaos, what are you doing here?" I asked "I have come because I have seen what the gods and their children have done to you, I saw how you sacrificed the warmth of your family home to keep your family safe, you are an incredibly noble and brave hero, that's why I am asking you to become my most elite assassin" he said, to say I was shocked was definitely an understatement "Lord Chaos, I'm honored, but, why me?" I asked "Perseus you are the greatest hero to ever live, it would be a shame to not have you in my elites" he said "what would I be doing if I were to join you?" I asked "you would train to use every weapon possible, you would learn to use the shadows, and become my best assassin" he answered, I thought about this for a minute, 'this is a chance for a new life, a new family' I thought "Lord Chaos, I accept" I said "great, come with me" he said as he walked toward the black hole, I walked toward the black hole and stepped through, when I exited the portal I saw a giant castle surrounded by huge walls "Perseus, welcome to your new home"
