Percy POV
Ever since Markus arrived he's been bragging about how he managed to kill a couple of hell hounds without training, and the worst part is that almost everyone worships him, the only other people besides me that can't stand him are Clarisse, Nico, the Stolls, and the rest of the seven, well except Annabeth, she says he's just happy he managed to kill the hell hounds, and that i'm just jealous, when I heard that I thought she was joking but when she didn't give any signs she was joking we ended up in an argument. Anyway Markus keeps challenging me so he can prove that he's better than me, I just ignore him until he goes away.

Percy POV
When I went outside the next day people kept giving me nasty looks and avoided me 'what's gotten into them' I thought. I was walking to the dining pavilion when Katie ran up to me "how could you" she yelled at me "what?" I asked "you know what you did don't play dumb" she yelled "Katie what are you talking about?" I asked "you destroyed my garden last night, it took me forever to get it perfect and you ruined it" she yelled and cried at the same time "I didn't destroy anything, I wasn't even near the Demeter cabin last night" I defended myself "don't lie you inconsiderate jerk, you're the only one here that can control water, you flooded my garden" she cried "no I didn't" I said "I saw you Percy" Markus said "oh my gods, Katie you know me, you know I wouldn't do this" I tried to remind her "just leave me alone and never speak to me again" she said then ran off crying "way to go Percy" Markus said as he walked off with everyone else, I really hate him.
Next day Percy POV
Everyones been shunning ever since Katie accused me of drowning her flowers, in fact a couple of people have started calling me names and just acting like jerks, the pain of all your friends betraying you in indescribable, its one of the worst things I've ever felt, the only thing keeping me here is Annabeth, and even she's been acting distant. On my way to lunch I heard a bunch of excited chatter near the Amphitheater so I decided to check it out "it's about time" I heard someone say "she's so much better without that loser she was dating" I heard someone else say, when I got past the crowd I saw the worst thing I've ever seen, it was Annabeth and Markus kissing, other campers noticed me, some looked scared, and others smirked, it wasn't until after Annabeth and Markus stopped kissing that they noticed me "Percy! It's not what it looks like" Annabeth said frantically "oh really, because it looks like you were making out with this worthless excuse of a hero" I growled, now everyone looked scared because the ground started shaking and storm clouds formed over head "shut up Jackson, it's about time someone put you in your place" Markus said as he drew his sword, but when he saw the look on my face he backed away like a coward "how could you?" I asked Annabeth "after everything I've done for you, after all the times I risked my life for you, after I went thought Tartarus for you, this, is how you repay me?" I growled at her "all of you" I said turning to the people behind me "I've nearly died to keep all of you safe many times, and you betray me because a son of Zues shows up, I fought with all of you against Kronos, I fought with all of you against Gaia and her giants, and THIS IS HOW I'M REPAYED?" I yelled, they all backed away, with fear in their eyes. That's when the gods showed up "Perseus Jackson, how dare you do this" Zues yelled "I haven't done anything" I growled back "you have almost destroyed this camp, and for your punishment you will be banished" he said, I glanced at my father and he had a dissapointed look on his face "Percy, I am ashamed to call you my son, so I hereby disown you as my child, now leave" he said "fine, but next time there's a war don't bother looking for me" I said, I then walked to my cabin and packed my stuff, then walked to the hill, I was about to exit the boarder when I heard someone yell "Percy wait" I turned around and saw Thalia running towards me "wait, come join the hunt, we're all disgusted by what the campers has done, you can travel with us, plus the only weapons the girls know how to use are bows and knives, learning to use a sword might do them so good" she said "I'd love to, but I don't belong in the hunt, besides, I need to be alone for a while" I told her, she looked sad but I could tell she understood "ok well, be safe, I don't want to find your body in the woods" she said before playfully punching my arm "don't worry, I'm hard to kill" I reassured her. I went to the only place I felt home, my apartment, I got there using the short cut I found a few years ago. My moms face when she opened the door was shocked to say the least "Percy what are you doing home? Shouldn't you be at camp?" she asked "it's a long story" I said, the concerned look she gave me told me she heard the sadness in my voice, but then her voice brightened up "come inside, I have someone I want you to meet" she said then grabbed my wrist and rushed me inside, when we got to the living room I saw Paul holding a baby, my mouth dropped and my eyes went wide "Percy I want you to meet your new baby sister"
