*Eva's P.O.V.*
I'm in my pre-calc class and all I can think about is my birthday tomorrow. I can't believe I'm turning 18, it doesn't feel real. 18 is a big deal. I'm in the middle of my senior year, and I don't want it to end. I don't want to leave home and go off to college, it's so crazy to me. How will I be able to not see my parents everyday? I'm so attached to them. The only good thing is I'll be at college with Stella and Ella. We're all going to the same college. I'm so happy to be going to college with my two best friends. I was looking around the room, and then I saw Matt. He was looking at me. We were looking at each other, and then he smiled at me. It wasn't his usual smile, this time, he seemed genuinely happy. I smiled back and waved, and he waved back. Eeeeeeep.

Class was over and as soon as I got out I had to find Ella and Stella to tell them what just happened, but then Matt stopped me in the middle of the hallway.

"Hi Eva, I just wanted to tell you that um....You're beautiful" when he said those words, I couldn't move or even breathe. Is this real? OMG

"That's so sweet thank you so much! So are you" did I just call him beautiful....he's gonna think I'm a weirdo. He started laughing

"Well, thank you, that's a new one. I have to go, but I'll see you around, bye Eva"

"B-bye Matt" he walked away and I stood frozen in the hallway. I can't believe that just happened, I feel like I'm dreaming. I spotted Ella and Stella and ran up to them

"OMG OMG OMG" they looked at me like I was crazy

"My goodness are you okay?"

"Guys! Matt just told me I was beautiful!" They were in shocked and started smiling like crazy

"Awwwwwww!! Details now"

"Well, first we were in class, and he smiled at me and then I smiled back and waved at him, then when I was leaving class he stopped me in the hallway and told me I was beautiful! Then I thanked him and told him he's also beautiful" the looks on their faces though

"And he said well that's a new one, and then he said thanks and I'll see you around"

"Awww Eva that's awesome! Good for you, I'm so glad"

"He probably likes you"

"I don't know" Stella looked really upset and she wasn't talking much.

"What's wrong Stella?"

"What? Nothing?"

"You look sad"

"I'm not sad, just confused"

"About?"

"Well I bumped into Nash earlier and we had an interesting conversation"

"Like?"

"He said he wants to be friends, and that he wants to get to know me more, and he thinks I'm a cool girl"
When I heard those words I couldn't help but freak out and same with Ella, we started jumping up and down with joy

"OMG STELLA!! He so likes you! Omg omg omg"

"Guys relax, he definitely doesn't, he just wants to be friends"

"That's the first step to a relationship, duh!"

"Whatever you say, I'm off to class, I'll see you after"

Why is she so in denial?

"God, she's so in denial, why can't she just admit it?"

"She's probably just scared about getting hurt"

"I know, but she needs to be more open minded, and not listen to other people and just let herself go, or else she'll never find happiness, and I think Nash will be. I can see how he's affecting her. Like this morning, when she saw him with that bitch, she looked so sad"

"I know Eva, I know. I want that for her too, and I hope she gets that. Not all of us are lucky"

"I just feel bad telling her all about Matt and stuff, she just seems so sad when I do"

"That's how I feel too when I tell her about Cam, but I don't think it bothers her, at least I hope not"

"Yeah, well I gotta go to class, we can talk about this later"

I went to class. I had physics now. When I went to sit down, I realized I have this class with Nash. He saw me and sat next to me.

"Hey, you're Eva right?"

"Um yeah"

"Aren't you friends with Stella?"

"She's my best friend"

"Oh cool"

"Why?"

"Please don't tell her I said this"

"I won't, I promise"

"Well, I like her. I don't know how I can like someone I barely know, but there's something about her. I know she doesn't like me either, but I hope I can change her mind" OMG he likes Stella!!

"Aw Nash that's so sweet, try to ask her to hang out and prove her wrong about you. You do know that you're known as a player, right?"

"Yeah, how can I not? It's my rep in this school, and people are just wrong. I just haven't found the right girl, and I feel like it's Stella"

"I'm gonna tell you the truth, she's a stubborn girl and it'll take awhile to convince her, but I know things will work out, okay?"

"Yeah, thanks for the advice Eva, it really helped"

"Of course" Nash likes Stella? I'm lost for words.
