Hold Me Close

~~~Chapter 5~~~

Julia's POV

Ever since me and Joffrey got back together, we were preparing to move in together. Joffrey got me an amazing job as a hockey night entertainer for the crowd. It's one of the most exciting jobs ever. I see Joffrey most of the time and even travel with him! We are starting to get used to living in hotel rooms for most of the time.

Joffrey flipped his lips downwards creating a frown before scooting closer to me and wrapping his large arm around my shoulder and pulling me closer into his body. He pressed his lips to my forehead and carefully lifted up my, well his, baggy t-shirt, placing the heating pad on the lower part of my stomach, just above the edge of my underwear, before pulled the t-shirt back down.

He reached behind my back and gently rubbed the bottom of my spine, one of the sources of the soreness since it's that time of month again.

"Why are you so perfect?" I asked him, pressing a kiss to his bare chest.

I could feel Joffrey shrug from underneath my head before he picked up the plate of chocolate cake He put a piece of it on the fork he had brought out and held it out in front of my mouth.

The first taste of chocolate was exactly what I had been craving, and what I had desperately needed.

"God, I love you."

Joffrey gave a small chuckle, leaning down and pressing a kiss to my lips, licking away some of the chocolate that had stayed. "Love you too, Julia" He said. "So are you ready to start the game, Julia" he said sitting on the chair near me. "Only if you are." I say before yawning and placing my head on his shoulder. "Ok babe bye I got to go practice" He said getting up "ok bye" I say as he goes out the door.  

I was walking out near the change rooms to leave the building for lunch when I heard some of the players talking about Joffrey. "Hey I hear he's going to a huge party on Saturday." "Ya there is suppost to be a lot of girls there." I could hear Reimer in there. He and Joffrey were really close friends so I was wondering what was happening. "Guys I'm going to talk to Julia. He's being stupid again and Julia can't take this any more" he says storming out. I started walking away I know he would know I heard it once he saw my face, I couldn't help it. I felt someone touch my shoulder I turned around knowing it would be Reimer. I couldn't stop the tears from coming out. "Listen to me Julia, we're not for sure he's going to go but I know he loves you." He says as he wipes my tears away than hugs me.

Joffreys POV

"Ok guys stop practice I got to go get my water I think I left it in the change room" I skate to the side as I get off the rink to walk to the change room. I turn the corner quietly as I stop myself from walking further staring at Julia hugging Reimer. What the hell! Is she cheating on me? I can't believe this. I'll just text her so we can talk about this later.
