Stevie rolled over in bed, stretching, and then bolted up right. The sheets pooled around her waist as she looked around the room and had the night before come flooding back. She could hear the shower running and Mick humming. She smiled at his voice. It was a low hum and had pure sexual desire flowing through her.

There was light streaming in from under the outside door and around the thick curtains. Glancing around the room she looked for a clock, but didn't see one. She climbed out of bed when the water turned off. As she finished pulling on her jeans, the bathroom door swung open. Mick was in jeans and nothing else. Her mouth watered.

"You're up."

"Yeah. Do you know what time it is?" She licked her lips and watched as he pulled his cell phone out of his pocket.

"A little after one."

"ONE?" She gasped.

"Yep."

"Holy hell. How did we sleep that late?"

"Well, I didn't, but I imagine you were pretty tired, not sleeping for over a day and all."

She watched as he bent at the knees and shuffled through his duffle bag. "How long have you been awake?"

"Since about nine."

She continued to stare at the side of his head like he had lost his mind. "Why the hell didn't you wake me? We should be getting to my car, before it gets towed or something." She bent next to him to get her sweater.

"We're stuck."

"What?" She asked, hands freezing on the sweater.

"The blizzard has us stuck. It is slowing down but the roads are blocked off, can't get back or forward. The news says storm should stop by evening and road crews should be able to clean up by tomorrow, so looks like we have another night in this place.

Stevie pinched the bridge of her nose and took a deep breath. "When did you watch the news? I have no idea how I slept through you being awake so long." She had always thought of herself as a light sleeper, but apparently not.

"I went to the front desk, to see if they had any kind of breakfast. Which was about as good as the rest of this place."

She felt her stomach rumble at the mention of food and wished he would have woken her for breakfast.

Mick rambled on, "The news was playing in the lobby, that's when I realized we were stuck. Also, I got towels fresh from the wash so if you want another shower, towels are clean."

"Okay."

He stood and pulled on a wrinkled long sleeved t-shirt then pulled out the desk chair to put on his socks and boots.

"Do they have any kind of lunch or dinner?" She asked, trying not to sound like she was starving.

"I brought you back a box of cheerios and milk." He pulled the cheerios, milk and a spoon from his jacket pocket.

She was so happy she could have kissed him. "Thanks." He stood up and she sat at the desk and ate her breakfast.

"As far as food for the rest of the day, the clerk said there was a small diner down the south road that would be open."

"Can we make it there?"

He starred at her as if she just asked if the sun rose every day. "I have a Tundra."
