Chapter 7: Pups Save A Sea Lion

I made up this mission.

It might be like an episode of Paw Patrol but I don't know. I have not watched all of the episodes.

And pretend Nightlight already met Katie, Alex and Katie's cat. Forgive me for the constant point of view changing.

Rocky's POV

I was balancing on a surf board. "Look Zuma! I'm a kite surfing pro!" I said and looked at Zuma. "Maybe not totally Rocky," he said. Katie laughed and we looked at her. "It might be more fun if you actually get into the water Rocky," said Katie. "And get wet? No thanks, I am more of a dry land surfer," I stated.

"Watch out!" called Nightlight as the ball came over my head and I ducked. I looked at it roll across the street. "Excuse me guys, Alex and I were playing catch when Alex made a mistake and threw the ball over here," said Nightlight.

"Yeah, and we're really sorry!" said Alex. "That's okay," said Katie. "Where it go?" asked Alex. "Over there!" I said as I used my paw to point to across the street. "OK, let's go get it!" said Alex.

Alex went up to the street. "Wait. Alex!" called Katie. We all ran up to him and before he could cross Nightlight grabbed the back of his shirt before he did. "Whoa. Easy tiger," said Nightlight.

"Look both ways before you cross," said Katie. When it was clear we crossed and got the ball. We went back to the other side and Alex hit the ball making it once again go far to where it went in the water. "Oops, sorry guys," said Alex.

"It's okay," said Nightlight. "I'll go get it!" said Zuma. Zuma ran up to the water. "Let's dive in!" he said and with that he was underwater.

Zuma's POV

When I jumped in the water, I immediately held my breath. When I got underwater I saw all the beautiful sea creatures, it was nice. I had to remind my self what I was doing. I looked for the ball and found it by a old anchor that had a net on it.

Weird but, probably one of Cap'n Turbots.

I swam up to it and tried to get the ball but it didn't work so I tried again but I moved the anchor and the ball came out. I grabbed the ball and was about to leave when I heard something like a dog bark. My curiosity got the best of me and I went back. When I went back, I saw a Sea Lion stuck in the net. I tried to free it but it didn't work. I looked around to see if I could see its family and I did but they were leaving him.

Oh no!

I heard the Sea Lion whine.

Don't worry little buddy, I will go get some help.

I swam to shore with the ball. I got out the water and shook. "Zuma? Zuma!" said everyone as they ran up to me. "We thought you weren't coming back dude!" said Rocky. I spat out the ball. "Nope, I was okay Rocky but I saw a baby Sea Lion that was stuck in a net underwater and his family was leaving him not noticing he was gone!" I said. "Wow," said Nightlight. "Looks like a job for the Paw Patrol!" said all of us as we ran to the lookout. "Bye Katie and Alex, duty calls!" said Nightlight. "Bye!" said Katie. "Good luck!" said Alex.

Ryder's POV

I was in the lookout playing on my pup pad when Rocky, Zuma and Nightlight came rushing through the elevator with their uniforms on panting.
