Chapter 1- A Start To What Was Probably Going To Be A Bad Day

Roxy Lalonde POV
*intense alarm ringing*
" What the HELL is that?" I said as I fell out of bed.
I stood up holding my head. I had hit the side table beside my bed. When I stood up I saw Dirk Strider out of all people standing in my room.
" Hey Rox! Why the fuck are you on the floor?" He said.
" I fell!" I said.
" Okay! Get up and get dressed!" He said, laughing a little.
" Okay, okay, I'm getting up." I said, slowly standing up.
As I walked down the stairs, my head started to hurt! I could usually tell wether it was a hang over or from me hitting my head...today I couldn't tell.
" Hi Roxy!" Jake said.
Jake English, he was an exchange student from England.
" Hello Jakey." I said, still tired.
" Are you okay Roxy?" Jane asked.
Jane has been my best friend forever! She has always been there for me.
" Yeah, I'm too sober for life though!" I said as I grabbed a martini glass.
Mutiny, my cat, rubbed her head up on my leg. She was a sweet heart and I loved her!
I got a drink and went back upstairs.

DIRK STRIDER POV
I had woken up to my bed shaking. What was going on? I opened my eyes and saw the source of the shaking. Mutiny, Roxy's cat, had wondered into my room somehow!
" God dammit Mutiny! I was trying to sleep! Who the actual fuck let you in? I was sure I closed my door last night." I said.
" I let her in. You were shaking the bed and screaming about how great anime is. Then you started cursing in Japanese, at least I hope that was Japanese!" Jane said.
" Fuck it Jane. Don't you know how important beauty sleep is? I don't just wake up looking beautiful you know." I said.
" You were SCREAMING DIRK!" She said, " now get dressed, Jake is taking us to breakfast. He woke me up. Go wake Rox up." She said.
We were all new to each other. It has only been two days since we met up again. We had been friends since we were little.
I walked into Roxy's room. She was still asleep. She looked cute when she slept. When her alarm clock rang, she fired herself up from her bed. It was funny.
" What the HELL is that?!" She said as she rolled off of her bed.
" Hey Rox! Why the fuck are you on the floor?" I said.
I really did know what happened but I didn't want to sound like a total creeper.
" I fell!" She said looking at me.
Her almost bleach blonde hair was in front of her face.
" Okay! Get up and get dressed!" I said, laughing a little.
She said okay as she got up.
I walked back into my room to find Mutiny still in there.
When I opened the door she ran out to go find Roxy.

JANE CROCKER POV
My amazing dream was interrupted when Jake flicked my arm.
" What Jake?" I said, yawning.
" Get up and get ready. I'm taking you people to breakfast." He said.
Jake English was a nice person. I've only known him for a couple days and he is so nice!
" Why?" I asked.
" I wanted to be nice to you people for once!" He said.
I look at him weird.
" Is that the real reason Jake?" I asked.
" No, there is no food in the house and I'm hungry." He said.
I laughed and stood up. He backed out of the room. I walked out of my room ready for the day when I heard screaming. It wasn't normal screaming though. It was Dirk. He was screaming anime theme songs and started to say somethings in Japanese. I'm just going to assume that's cursing because he is speaking fast.
I opened Roxy's door to let Mutiny out. She was sleeping. I walked into her room to get her martini glass out of her room.
I let Mutiny into Dirk's room. She woke him up alright.
" God dammit Mutiny! I was trying to sleep! Who the actual fuck let you in?" He said
" I let her in. You were shaking the bed and screaming about how great anime is. Then you started cursing in Japanese, at least I'm going to assume that was Japanese." I said.
" Fuck it Jane! Don't you know how important beauty sleep is? I don't just wake up looking this beautiful you know." He said.

I walked down the stairs as Dirk walked into Roxy's room. When I made it to the kitchen I heard a boom from right above me. Roxy's room was right above the kitchen. We usually hear stuff like this, but usually it's Dirk falling into Roxy's room. That's what I'm going to assume that is. When I went to let Mutiny out, Roxy's martini glass from last night was lying in the door way.
" What do you think that boom was Jane?" Jake asked.
" I'm going to assume that Dirk fell into Roxy's room" I said.
" You know what they say about assuming things Jane. When you assume you make an ass out of you and me." He said, laughing a little.
