I materialized in the grand throne room with a smirk after my meeting with Samantha. I watched the raven-haired queen pace the length of the large floor, unaware of my presence. She jumped when I cleared my throat, turning to glare at me.
"You need to stop doing that!" She whisper-yelled at me.
"Would you rather I stormed through the front door, letting everyone know that I'm here?" She didn't say a word as I crossed the floor and threw myself nonchalantly into her throne. "That's what I thought."
"Did she take it?" She asked finally, walking up the platform to stand in front of me.
"Like a fish to water." I stated, smirking. I got out of the chair, stretching my legs. "One way or another, she'll be back in the Realm tomorrow."
"Good. If I can't have him, no one can."
"You really are the Queen of Evil, aren't you?"
She smirked. "The one and only."
