It did not get any easier.

Over the summer, we came to a mutual agreement, convinced it was the only way that we could preserve our friendship: we decided to call it a day, to cut off all relationship strings. Just like that.

We stopped writing to each other, and while we spoke a little whenever you came back, you'd stopped coming back so often. I suppose it was easier that way, for both of us.
