Ansel's POV
I drove as fast as I could. I didn't believe Julia will be capable of commiting suicide but with all that she had gone through I wasn't sure anymore. After a few minutes I finally got to the dorms I rushed my way up the stairs because I didn't have time to waste waiting for the elevator to come down.
I ran through the hallway and was now infront of her door I began to knock as hard as I could.
" Julia open the door"
I yelled her name but she wouldnt answer. I backed away from the door and then kicked it open. I walked in and saw Julia laying down there was little blue pills around her.
" Julia " I yelled. She didn't answer. I ran to her and checked her pulse and thank God she was still alive but her pulse was really weak. I called 911 and they told me they where on their way.
Me: " I am right here Julia help is on the way baby"
Minutes later the paramedics where here. They where all around her . They put her on one of the beds they use to take her out. I walked right behind them. They took her down the elevator they rushed to the ambulance. I ran behind them.
Me:" Can I go she's a friend of mine?"
" Yeah go in" I sat besides her and held her hand and I felt the cold metal of the ring in he finger . They put a oxygen mask on her and gave her this injection.
" Its an overdose" the paramdic said. I held her hand and it felt kinda cold. I felt tears roll down my cheeks. I heard a long beeps then all the paramedics began to take things out.
"We are loosing her" they yelled. Then there was a long beep sound. They grabbed this metal thing they use to revive people.
" Clear" and then they put it in her chest. They tried a couple of more times but there was no response.
" She's gone "
Me: " No please don't say that" i grabbed her hand and started crying. I shook her a little but nothing happened. I couldn't believe she was gone and the last talked we had was an arguement.

Me: " Baby please wake up I love you, you know that right" Everything was silent inside my head it was like it was only me and her. But then I felt a small pressure in my hand. I looked at it and saw her holding into my hand. Then the beeps started again.
"She's coming back" one of the paramedics said.
Me: " She's alive" I said in excitement. "We are only minutes away from the hospital we just need to keep her heart going"
After two more minutes we where in the hospital they rushed inside and I ran right behind them, until I was stoped by a nurse.
" I am sorry sir you can't go in there"
Me: " I need to be with her"
" You will get to see her later let the doctors do their job everything is gonna be fine"
I just rubbed my hands on my face and sat down on the waiting area.I had an incoming call from Corina but I had too many emotions going through me that I just couldnt answer. I sat there with my face in my hands. Tears hadn't stop rolling down my cheeks since I saw her laying on her bed in the edge of death. I just prayed that she was okay. I couldn't believe what she had done to herself.
After a few hours a doctor came out and called for Julia Foster's family or friends and I ran to him.
Me: " Hi I am a friend of Julia's how is she?"
" She is a really lucky lady their is no way she should of survived its a miracle that she still alive but we believe she tried to commit suicide due to the overdose"
Me: " How is she right now?"
" She is in a good condition but a little weak we're still waiting for all those drugs to get out of her system which will only take a couple of days, however, I do suggest she goes to a psychologist after she is out of here because she has gone through alot of things to have want to take her own life. She will also need someone to be with her to be keeping an eye on her and help her through the process"
Me: " I will make sure to take good care of her"
" We need to call her parents first and see if they are willing to let their daughter in your care after this incident but the one that has the last word is her " that scared me a little because I didn't know what her parents would say or what she would want.
Me: " May I go see her?"
" Yes you may she is in room E276, she might be a sleep right now due to the injection they gave her earlier "
Me: " Okay....Thank you" I walked around the hallway until I found her room. I grabbed the door knob and then slowly turned it. I walked in and there was a green curtain. I closed the door and walked through the curtain and then I saw her. She looked so peaceful. I sat besides her and just looked at her. I grabbed her hand and once again felt the cold metal of the ring. I looked at it and then at her. I stilled remembered walking into the restaurant and seeing Shawn in one knee infront of her and the way she looked at my direction and when our eyes met at that moment I wished she could of said no I wished that she could of changed her mind.
Me: " Why would you do this to yourself Julia? " I told her even though she was asleep. I kissed her hand and the just sat there and instead of thinking about the things that just happened I remembered all the good times me and her had together.
Hours past by and nurses will come in every hour and check on her. I checked on my phone for the first time since I got here and saw I had many missed calls from Corina and other people. I dialed Corina's number and waited for her to pick up the phone. After three rings she picked up.
Corina: " Ansel why haven't you answered me, was Julia okay?"
Me: " Well I am the hospital right now, because sadly she did tried to take her life and I was too late to stop her....but she is better now "
Corina: " I can't believe she actually tried....can I talk to her?"
Me: " She's asleep right now but I will call you when she wakes up "
Corina: " I am a terrible friend, I should of talk to her more often" I heard her crying.
Me: " Don't say that your a good friend is just she was going through hard times"
Corina: " But I wasn't there for her"
Me: " I wasn't there either " I turned to look at her and saw she was beginning to wake up.
Me: " She is starting to wake up I will call you back in a minute " I hanged up and ran to her.
Me: " Your awake"
Julia: "Were am I"
Me: " Your in the hospital your lucky that Corina called me"
Julia: " Why did yall do this?" She said below a whisper.
Me: " What?" I said confused.
Julia: " Why did you save me, I wanted to die"
Me: "Don't say that"
Julia: " But it's true, I was so close but you had to ruin it for me"
Me: " Baby, don't say that" I tried to grabbed her hand but she pulled it away.
Julia: " Get away from me"
Me: " Julia " I said and a tear was rolling down my cheek.
Julia: " I gotta get out of here" she began to pull the cables of all the things they had connected to her and then a nurse came running.
"Sweety don't do that your gonna hurt yourself" the lady tried to hold her hands but Julia began fighting and then three more nurses came running in trying to calm Julia down.
Julia: " Let me go.....dont you understand I wanna die"
Me: " Julia calm down"
Julia: " Shut up Ansel I hate you....it's your fault I am still here" then a nurse put an injection and the yelling began to stop her voice got weaker and weaker until it was all silence.
Me: " What happened to her " I asked in panic.
"Dont worry its just something to put her to sleep, we are gonna have to tie her hands because its just a precaution "
Me: " When will she wake up?"
" The effect will wear off in three hours but we will give her something to keep her calmed" I just nodded and sat besides her. They adjusted the cables and left. I held her hand which was now tied to the bar in the bed.
Me: "let me help you Julia"
I sat there thinking of her until I fell asleep.

Next Morning
I woke up at the same time Julia was and when she saw she was tied up, she was not happy.
Me: " Julia don't get mad is for your safety" she began pulling but no matter what she did will break her free.
Julia: " Please help me take this off"
Me: " I .......I can't it's to keep you safe Julia"
Julia: " Forget it you dont even care about me"
Me: " I do care and you know it "
Julia: " Then why didn't you let me die?"
Me: " Because I love you and even if you don't love me anymore or wanna know anything about I can't bare to loose you" and with that she stayed silent looking away from me. I saw one tear roll down her cheek but she rubbed it off with her shoulder. I just looked down and played with the strings from the chair. After thirty minutes of silence the doctor came in with a nurse .
Doc: " Good morning Ms. Foster how are you feeling?" Julia just looked down and didn't answer.
Doc: " Well I came to tell you, that your a really lucky lady "
Julia: " I don't see how I am lucky" she said still looking down.
Doc: "Well most of our patients with an overdose like that have almost never made it so I consider that to be lucky......i have some questions for you Ms. Mendes"
Julia: " Whay is it?"
Doc: " Due to your condition at this moment someone needs to take care of you and Mr.Elgort is more than willing to take care of you however, we called your parents and they prefer you to go with them, but at the end is all your decision"
Me: " Julia please let me take care of you" she slightly shook her head and didn't turn to look at me.
Doc: " Mr. Elgort will you excuse us for a minute so me and nurse Lauren can speak with Ms. Foster in private"
I turned to look at Julia and then back at the doctor and nodded I began walking to the door and then stopped and turned around Julia was looking down but then her head tilted up when she notice I was still there our eyes met and I could see all the saddness inside of her just by looking into them.
Me: " I am still hopelessly, madly in love with you and I hope you make the right decision " I saw a tear roll down her cheek and I left I sat in a chair outside her room and waited for the doctor after a fe minutes he came out with no expression in his face.
Doctor: " She has finally made her decision"
Me: " What did she decide? " I asked and I felt fear come to me because inside i knew what he was gonna say.

Sorry for not updating I have been busy and I am sorry that this chapter wasn't so good I couldn't come up with good ideas but please comment any ideas or what you taught about the chapter. But if you liked it vote:)
