No More Single Pirouettes

Chapter 1

Maddison's POV

"Alright class is over, you guys worked hard, don't forget we have a competition coming up in 3 weeks so don't start slacking off!" My dance teacher, Kelsie yelled across the studio as we all went to pack up our things and go home.
I pulled on my track suit pants and threw on my hoodie because I knew it would be cold outside. I said a few good byes to some of the girls who were parked next to me but I tried to get into my warm car as fast as possible. As soon as got in to the car, I heard my phone buzz. I searched through my dance bag to find it, finally finding my phone I had already missed all call and revived a text. All from my best friend, Josh. 
I have know Josh for as long as I can remember. I decided just to call Josh and drive so I could get home and have a shower. So I put my key in the ignition and called Josh and put my phone on speaker and rested it in my lap as I drove out of the parking lot and headed home.
It rang three times and I began to think that Josh isn't even gonna pick up, but he did after the forth ring, finally.

Josh: "look who decided to actually communicate with there best friend"

I smiled and just shook my head

Me: "your hilarious, so what's up I didn't check your message"

Josh: "oh right that, I found out Bianca is having a party this Saturday! You keen?"

Me: "you know I'm the party type Josh"

Bianca is this girl a year older than Josh and I and whenever her parents are out of town for the weekend she always throws a party. Her parents must really hate there area or something because it feels like Bianca is having parties to often

Josh: "oh c'mon Mads, it will be fun, and you know what I heard that there is a group of guys from a different school coming, maybe some hotties!?"

Josh is gay, and proud of it I think that is one of the reasons he is my best friend, not because his gay but he is just confident, unlike me.

Me: "don't, try in get me into another relationship please I don't want to go down that road ever again"

Josh: "look honey, I'm sorry about that but there are so many better guys than Jake you just gotta put yourself out there"

Jake is my ex boyfriend and kinda my first boyfriend, and me being caught up all in the fantasy and all the what I thought was love, Jake was only using me for the sex that his girlfriend wasn't giving him. So yeah he cheated on me.

Me: "your totally right, but it to soon..."

Josh: "MADDISON KATE ANDERSON DONT BE SUCH A BITCH AND COME TO THIS PARTY AND HAVE A GOOD TIME WITH YOUR BEST FRIEND"

I smiled and laughed a little and gave in

Me: "okay fine, but your driving!"

Josh: "no! That's not fair you don't even drink, mads!"

Me: "agh fine, I will drive but I will be waiting at 8 and if your not in my car by 8:01 I'm going home, okay"

Josh: "yes mum whatever"

I laughed as he hung up

I finally drove into my drive way. I lazily grabbed my bag and dragged my heavy, sore body out of my car. I walked straight into my house knowing the door wouldn't be locked I walked into the kitchen to find the usual note on the bench.

Held back at work again tonight, the is so meet patties in the fridge if you want to make hamburgers for dinner

My mum works a lot more now that me and my older brother Jackson are older and can be trusted at home. My dad flys to the other side of the country to work, he works for 3 weeks and then comes home for a week. Yesterday he just left so I won't see him not until the end of this month

I decided just to skip dinner not feeling all that hungry and ran upstairs into my room. I dumped all my bags on the floor and hoped into my bathroom. I stripped my clothes of throwing them in my dirty clothes bin, tied my hair up in a messy bun and hoped into the shower. I stood there for a while I let the hot water run over my body slowly soothing my aching muscles. I lather my self in my vanilla scented soap and massage any tight nots in my muscles. I rinse off the soap and turn the water off and step out of the shower and dry my self off, I throw on my bath robe and step out of the bathroom. I walk over to my closet and grab out a pair of cotton pj pants and a old top and changed into them before quickly jumping on my bed and under the covers and unlocking my phone

I heard the door slam and someone making a racket down stairs, I assume it's my brother but I drag my self out of bed to check. I walk down the stairs and out to face kitchen with no surprise my brother cooking, well burning his meet patties

Jackson: "hey mad, did I wake you up?"

Me: "no, no just got out of the shower, where we you?"

Jackson: "just at a friends house, did you here about Bianca's party on Saturday?"

Me: "yeah, you going?"

Jackson: "yeah of course, Bianca's parties are good! What about you"

Me: "yeah, Josh is making me go but I wanna go I guess"

Jackson: "typical"

Jackson laughs as he puts his burnt patty on a bread roll with a massive amount of mustard

Me: "did you also here that there is gonna people there who aren't from our school to"

Jackson: "yeah there will be" he said with his mouth full " I think a couple of those guys are actually moving to our school, I think that's why they are coming to the party, you know to meet some people" he says as he wipes his mouth with his thumb and licks of what ever came off his face

I just nod my head not all that interested, I sighed and said night to my brother and walked back up the stairs. I closed my bedroom door, turned off the light and crawled back into bed. I unlocked my phone and continued to scroll through my Instagram feed. It was all just the usual, selfies a couple of throw backs  because it's Thursday and the odd funny quote here and there. Well it was until there was a photo posted by one of the guys at my dancing posted a photo with him and another guy. The other guy had kinda long brown hair and a fit body, he also had the bluest eyes, that seemed to kinda like glow.

I clicked on the photo to see what the mystery person Instagram was, if he had it. And he did, I click on the user and his profile popped up. His profile picture was a photo of him and what looks like to be his little sister. His name was Nash, Nash Grier.
