Nicks POV:

We waited and waited for Amanda to come out, I sat there no face express I couldn't think or speak, it was my fault.

"For Amanda Rollins"

We all stood "she is in ICU under critical care but you guys can come visit her"

We walked in and she had the oxygen mask over her mouth again, she waved at us and smiled, she still smiled even when she was going through the worst time.

"Hey manda" I said

"Hey baby girl" fin said rubbing her foot

"How you feeling?" Liv asked

She took off the mask "in a lot of pain, did you guys get him?"

"I shot him in the leg" fin said

I could tell she started to freak out, she started to breath heavy and then put the mask over her mouth I went up to her to calm her down.

"Don't worry he's not in the same hospital"

She sighed in relief, then laughed "good he deserves to get shot"

We all laughed "how long do you have to be in here for?" I asked

"I don't know hopefully not long, I hate hospitals"

"Hi mrs. Rollins if it's ok with you we need to do a rape kit"

Started to leave I was the last one "wait Nick can you stay?" I saw the eyes she gives me that I couldn't say no too.

I nodded and watched her as she undressed, the gown slipped right off her body, I looked down at her body and I saw all the scars, the stitches from when she was stabbed some where open, all the bruises, cigarettes burns, rope burns, belt marks, I looked down and shook my head I hated Nate for what he did I always had a bad feeling about him.

It was finally gone after 6 hours, I watched her slip her gown back on and lay in the bed, I saw a tear go down her face, I quickly whipped it away with my thumb "hey, hey it's ok you're safe"

"I know nick, I-I just can't believe this happened to me, and that it was Nate, and I just don't want you to see me broken, why do you even care?"

"Manda i will always care about you,
I always have, you're not broken you just need to let me in your life to help you"

"I can't, whenever I let someone help me they end up getting hurt, and I don't want to see you hurt"

I walked up to her and grabbed her hand "manda please you're one of the best things that's happened to me, the past is the past, I will make sure you won't get hurt anymore ok?"

"How do you stay all smiley even through this whole time" I asked

"Because your here" she then pulled me in and kissed me

I grabbed her hand and sat next to her, she ended up falling a sleep I watched her sleep peacefully, as her chest rose and then fell, and I could hear her machine and I watched the oxygen mask over her mouth, her close eyelids, he blonde hair that was slightly brown from the blood that was on her head.
