Chapter Five

'Breath in, breath out, breath in, breath out, breath in,-'

"Venus!" I jolt out of my happy place. "Get your patootie over here now!" My dad's stern voice yells for me.

With a small groan of annoyance I get up from my sitting position, walking slowly through my room to the door way. Going through the hallway towards where I hear my parents voices talking quietly, I stop walking when I hear Jake's name.

"Oh come on Leo it's not that bad." My mother's voice is calming.

"Not that bad? She has apparently been dating this hooligan for who knows how long and didn't even tell us." Dad whisper yells, I stand there confused my heart beat starts to speed up a bit.

"She probably didn't tell us because she knew you'd react like this." She says matter of factly.

"Maybe I would, maybe I wouldn't." Dad huffs, that's when I decide to come in.

"Hey guys, what's up?" I ask with a little bit of nervousness.

"Venus." My mom's voice jumps a bit. "Hi sweetie."

"Hey, what's going on?" I ask standing in their direction.

"What's going on is that we just got a call from Jake." Dad sounds upset.

"Wait, Jake Stumose? What did he want?" I ask scrunching up my eyebrows.

"He wanted to know if his girlfriend Venus got home okay." My face heats up immediately, that ass hole.

"Hm, such odd wording." I say avoiding the subject putting a hand on my chin, looking down like uncle Donnie does when he's thinking.

"Venus." Dad breaks my 'gaze' with the floor looking in his direction."What exactly is going on?" He sounds frustrated.

"I'm going to be honest with you guys, I am dating him," I pause for dramatic affect, "at the same time I'm not dating him."

"Wha?" My mom's voice asks confused.

"How can you be dating and not dating at the same time? Unless" Dad asks until he gasps.

Then my mom's gasps, that's when I realize what they're thinking. Oh my god no, they think Jake and I are having, that's why their.

"Wait, I know what you guys are thinking but-" I say but I'm quickly cut off.

"Venus, you are grounded til the end of time and even after that. As for Jake, he will never have children!" Dad says angrily.

"I can't believe you didn't tell me." Mom says quietly and highly offended.

"What? your encouraging this?!" Dad asks.

"Listen sweetie it's only natural, things are different this day and age, I just wish she had told me so we could share the moment." She says sadly, I almost felt guilty about not telling her about my non existent first time.

"Are you kidding-" I interrupt before this can go any further.

"Guys, guys, guys!" I say catching their attention. "I'm not having sex with Jake or with anyone for that matter." I say loudly with a blush on my face.

"Oh," mom's voice says quietly, "Then what did you mean?" She asks confused I can feel both parents stares on me.

"I meant that at school yes we're dating, but in real life no." I then proceed to tell them about how the misunderstanding came about and how in my defense I was completely against it.

"Oh sweetie, we had no idea, we're sorry if we embarrassed you."

"Where you getting this we stuff from?You were the one talking about how you wanted her to tell you all about her having sex." I blush deeply at my dad's words. "Which you should wait until you're married." His voice is a nurturing one as he says it.

"Oh come on now, you were talking about grounding her in the afterlife and cutting off a poor boys no-no's." Mom says sassily. "You can do it whenever you're ready sweetie, but it's always better with someone you love."

"What kind of message is that to send to my daughter?" Dad asks angrily.

"Your daughter? If anything she's my daughter! I was the one that pushed her out of my vagina, do you know how much that hurts?!" It's at this point I'm wondering whether I should leave or not.

"Should I come back later?" I say their eyes on me again, I shrink down a bit. "You know so I don't have to be here for this conversation?" I say quickly then shake my head. "You know what nevermind I'll just go." I fast walk quickly out of that area.

I walk into a room, any room as long as it's not anywhere near the conversation my mom and dad are having. I slam the door behind me and then rest my forehead on it and close my eyes.

"Venus?!" Andy's surprised and shocked voice enters my ears I immediately turn around to her the shifting of the bed and it's covers.

"Andy?" I confusedly ask. "Did I walk into your room?"

"Y-Yeah, what are you doing in here?" I'm about to answer when I notice the nervousness in his voice.

"Andy, is there someone in here with you?" I ask crossing my arms.

"N-No...." Andy says, then I hear a slight shift and then another one, a little smaller, I gasp.

"Is that Kori?!" I ask in his direction.

"N-No?"

"H-Hi Venus." Kori's voice is small timid and all around embarrassed.

"We're you and her gonna doing the nasty?" I ask covering my mouth. "Why wouldn't you lock the door?!" I yell pointing behind me. "Oh my god, my brain, it's blind, it's blind, it can't see." I say holding my head and squeezing my eyes shut as I run out of the room slamming that door closed.

As I run down the hallway I bump into somebody and fall down.

"Watch where you're going kid." Uncle Raph gruff voice says as he pulls me off the ground. "What's the rush?" He asks as I brush myself off.

"Why are all you adults so confusing? Huh? One moment you're fighting about your daughter and then the next you're fighting about who she belongs to, and then you guys are having sex without locking the door or putting a sock on it." I rant as I vent to uncle Raph I feel his eyes on me for a long time before he says something.

"Listen Venus, first have your parents had the talk with you?" He asks I look at him confused.

"Yeah why?" I ask scrunching my eyebrows.

"Just making sure I don't have to give you the talk." He says relieved. "Second, the fights couples have aren't what they're actually fighting about, it all has a deeper meaning to it than just, pancakes for example." I nod in somewhat understanding as he explains.

"Thirdly, who exactly did you walk in on? Was it your parents?" I shake my head.

"N-No, that'd be worse, I walked in on Andy and Kori." I say with a shudder.

"Yeah, I kind of guessed it." Raph sighs out. "Listen Venus," he puts a hand on my shoulder, "when get to that point in your life, which you should, and don't tell your dad I said this, do it whenever you want,you'll understand why locking the door is such a little thing compared to the situation at hand, understand?" Raph asks, I give him a small smile and a slight nod. "Good, now speak of this to no one." I smile at him as I walk away.

Sooooo yeah Not my best work but it's a pretty good job. Trying to draw Venus innocently at the same time she's got dat body is Hard. I tired to draw her face like KikiTMNT but I think I epically failed. Anywho Hope You Enjoyed this Chapter! OH and did you notice I put a little shuriken in her left, our right, hand!
