"Go away Raven." The ginger said, gently nudging her little sister away from her laptop. She wanted to Skype her crush in peace and certainly didn't want a bratty little nine year old right beside her. Who knows what insanely personal things she'll blurt out just to annoy her?

-----

Hi. My name is Rose. No, I'm not a flower. And I have three siblings. Two of them are younger than me, and I have an equally annoying big brother who is really popular. I have Raven and Dakota, as the younger siblings. Dakota at age 11 and Raven at 9. Then I have my stupid older brother named Curtis who is 18, a year older than me. I have curly light red hair that came to about a shoulders' length and blue eyes. I love my eyes. I think they are my best asset.

I closed my precious blue MacBook Air and hopped on my big comfy bed, rolling around on the covers. I probably shouldn't have done that considering I just made my bed after my mom nagged me eight hundred times. Oh well.

My crush is named Chance. He's really funny and attractive. But, he's a bad boy. He gets into trouble often, always argues with the teachers, and has girls all over him. Every single day. Whenever I'm on break I constantly spend my time in the library, working on homework and such. Chance and his group of girls always seem to gather in front of where I work. It bugs me.

As for me, I'm a good girl. I think. I get perfect grades and I help out a lot. I try and stay away from the crowd; I hate bringing attention to myself. I enjoy rugby, but that's more of a secret. I don't know why I fell so hard for Chance, but I did. Sucks to be me.

"Rosey! Dinner!"

"Coming Mom!"

As I met the top of the stairs, my brother burst out of his room, shoving me aside and almost causing me to fall down. "Oi! Watch it!"

"Oops, sorry. I didn't see you." He gave an evil smirk that just made me want to kill him for almost making me plummet down the seemingly endless stairs.

"Suck an egg." I sneered, sitting down in my usual spot along with Raven and Dakota. My dad was working late.

"Rosey, we do not talk like that while we are about to eat. Now, both of you grab your forks and start eating." My mother scolded, and I obediently obeyed. I loved her cooking.

My mom was a really nice and beautiful woman. She got along with everyone in our neighborhood. Her beauty was out of this world. She had long red hair that went to her shoulders, with a little curl at the tip. Her smile lit up the entire room. She was fairly slim--I mean, she did go for a jog every morning. I wish I was as beautiful as her. Chance would be begging for me in no time.

"Mom! This is really good!" Shouted my little sister rather loudly, causing an identical death stare from me and my big bro. My other brother was eating like a normal child, except when he'd sneak on his phone to text his girlfriend. Mom had a rule of no phones at the table, so he always had to be really sneaky.

"Raven, darling. Thank you for the compliment but please don't scream." My mother said with a gentle smile.

"I'm done." I announced, getting up and walking back up to my room.

"Tubby." My brother laughed and I had a second mind to kick him where it hurts.

"Shut up." I yelled. So what if I ate very fast and loved food? I'm not fat!

I ignored his other unwanted comments and made my way to my room, going back on Skype. And get this--Chance only recently added me then wanted to video chat. I was beaming with joy. Maybe we can do it now.
