Sweat trickled down my forehead as the sun's rays grow hotter.

Holding on to my limping arm, I desperately evade the mud puddles everywhere.

Seeing that it's impossible, I walk aimlessly past tall, green,trees and the mix of orange and red leaves falling.

Half expecting that I could see the road somewhere.

I pull my phone out.

"Shit, No bars!" I cursed as my phone vibrated and shut down.

I roamed my eyes freely to ease the nervousness and tension slowly creeping on to me.

"This is all Kitty and Ira's fault, I should've just stayed home and cleaned my room and finished my fucking book."

I mumbled regrets to myself to break the silence enveloping the forest.

Five.
Ten.
Fifteen.
Twenty minutes passed and I still couldn't see any living creature intelligent enough to tell me where the road is.

I was humming a tune I never heard, when I heard a constant rustle behind me, I walked faster.

Reassuring myself that it was just a stupid bear, which..would probably lead me to certain death.

I shook my head, trying to evade my spooky thoughts.

'It's just a bear, just a dumb,idiotic,stupid, clumsy, fluffy, ugly type of a forest bear.'

I repeated to myself over and over again, trying to calm my nerves.

The rustling came closer.

And I ran.

My heart raced and thundered beneath my chest.

I looked back and saw a dark shadow.

'Oh my gosh oh my gosh oh my goshh' I screamed and panicked in my head.

Long tree branches scraped my face and made me yelp in pain, but I kept running.

"AAAAHHHHH!" I screamed as my feet slipped on a puddle and I went rolling down the cliff.

"AH-SHI-OUCH!" I cried as rocks and pebbles scratch my skin.

My back hit the trunk of a big tree, hot tears finally cascaded down my cheek as the stinging pain traveled from my spine.

My vision blurred and I saw blood trickling down my left leg.

A shadow appeared before me..
My lips trembled, it was huge.. a bear? A killer?

I slowly raised my eyes and I saw.. A Boy?
