Prologue

"Hello! Welcome to Seoul's best rated restaurant. I'm Park Hyun-Ae. I'll be your waiter tonight. What would you like to start off with?"

My name is Park Hyun-Ae So-Young .People just call me Park or Hyun-Ae, so yeah. Anyway, I am 15. I know what you're thinking. 'What kind of teenager is working at a restaurant at the age of 15 and not in school studying?'

First of all, I am smarter than you think. Secondly, I have to work, I am earning my living. Thirdly, you're probably wondering how I can speak american and korean. I can speak american because my mother brought me to america for vacation when I was little and taught me the language. Though I am not american, I feel like an american.

I'm so weird. Anyway, you're probably wondering, 'where is your mother? Why isn't she the one working?'. Well, my mom, she's dead. She died when I was 9. I never had a father.
My mother worked and worked. I thought she was just having the cold so I left her to what she was doing.

I never did anything because whenever I tried helping she just gets mad and always says the same thing, "I'm doing this for you because I love you...". This is the reason why I
hate - no cross that off.

This is the reason why I have a burning hate for my father. Meh, still sounds the same. I never want to know who he is nor do I want to see him.My mother says I get my attitude, my smirk/smile and nose from my father. So he must be snarky then.

How did he even get my mother? My mother deserves better. Anyway, she told me that their love was never meant to be. She never told me anything else about my father. Well, back to me.
Haha, I sound like a bitch. Anyways, I was born on a Wednesday at 12:00am, midnight.

On April 14, 1999. Okay, do you think I should've been born on Tuesday or Wednesday? The clock struck 12 when I was finally out. So, I'm born on Wednesday then?Alright that's enough I'm having a headache. Anyway, gotta get back, my break is over. If boss caught me, she'd yell and embarrass me in front of everyone.
