MAYAS POV:
I wake up with a horrible migraine.
I couldn't miss school because I've already missed so much I could get a detention, and I couldn't spend another second in that hell hole they call "school" for more then a second then I already do.
I go down-stairs.
My mom isn't there.
Usual.
She started taking extra shifts ever since my dad moved out five moths ago.
I barely see her.
But I haven't seen my dad since their big fight they had.
I go upstairs and straighten my hair and put on a random outfit I had picked out last night.
I grab my bag next to the door and head over to Riley's to pick her up.
I beeped in.
"Hey losers it Maya"
"Come on up" Riley's says back.
I go up to their apartment.
"Come on Riles were gonna be late" I say as I walk in to grab her.
"I'm coming!" Riley said. By the tone of her voice I can tell she sounded slightly annoyed, but that didn't bother me.
I grabbed her by her hand and pulled her out.
When we got on the subway Riley's face turned completely white, as if she had just seen a ghost.
I was a little concerned.
"Riles what's wrong?" I say comforting her.
"Cute - b-boy" she stutters.
I roll my eyes.
If course.
She points behind me.
I turn over to see what guy she will fantasise for months this time.
I looked over and the boy looked at me and smiled, and went back to reading his book.
I don't usually like the guys Riley finds "attractive" but this guys hotness scale was on a whole new level.
I knew I wouldn't date him.
He, first of all would never date someone like me, and if he would Riley would get really pissed at me because I'm dating the guy she's to afraid to even look at or speak to.
