YOONGI
Months before Sienna Blake ever sat beside Min Yoongi on a rehearsal room floor in Seoul, he saw her forty feet above Los Angeles.
He just didn't know her name yet.
The car had been stopped in traffic for almost ten minutes.
Yoongi sat in the back seat with his hood pulled over his head, one earbud in and the other hanging loose against his chest. Jungkook was beside him, scrolling through his phone. Namjoon sat across from them, reading something on his tablet.
They'd been in Los Angeles for three days.
Three days of interviews, meetings, rehearsals, cameras, people, schedules and not nearly enough sleep.
Yoongi wanted exactly two things.
Coffee.
And silence.
He was getting neither.
"Hyung."
Yoongi ignored Jungkook.
"Hyung."
Still nothing.
"Yoongi-hyung."
"What?"
Jungkook pointed out the window.
"She's pretty."
Yoongi barely looked.
"I didn't ask."
"I know. I'm telling you."
"Don't."
Jungkook laughed and returned to his phone.
Yoongi leaned his head against the window.
Then his eyes drifted outside anyway.
And stopped.
A billboard covered the side of a building across the intersection.
Luxury campaign.
Minimal background.
A woman stood in the center wearing a black dress, her dark hair falling over one shoulder as she looked directly into the camera.
Not smiling.
She didn't need to.
There was something about the confidence in her expression that made the entire image feel effortless.
Like she knew exactly who she was.
Yoongi stared a second too long.
Beside him, Jungkook slowly lowered his phone.
"Oh."
Yoongi didn't move.
Jungkook grinned.
"Ohhh."
"Shut up."
"I didn't say anything."
"You were about to."
"You're looking."
"It's a billboard."
"With a pretty girl on it."
Yoongi finally looked at him.
"Do you want to walk back to the hotel?"
Jungkook immediately looked down at his phone.
"No."
The light changed.
The car moved.
The billboard disappeared behind them.
