general rules

one

be descriptive
a few sentences to a paragraph or more is always appreciated. anything less than that and I will probably not respond. I like my roleplays to have some feeling to them. 

two

don't spam pls
I am a very busy bee and even if I'm not working I might be too tired to write. I do my best to let people know if I won't be replying any time soon. but consistent spamming and tagging will usually discourage me from the roleplay.

three

discord
this isn't a must-follow rule but I am more active on discord as I have better access and notifications there. if you have discord and also prefer to roleplay there lmk. my discord will be at the end.

four

grammar & writing
use third person pov. fine with past or present tense. please use quotation marks for speech. no text talk unless texting is occurring in the story itself. conversations outside the rp should be in brackets eg. ()[]{}

five

cursing
I'm fine with cursing but pls don't make it your characters sole personality trait. remember to censor any cursing if we roleplay here. discord roleplays will not need censoring unless preferred.

six

nsfw
gore and violence are fine if it makes sense to the story. open to smut but never as the sole point of the story and only if the characters have a close bond. and please lmk your personal preferences to these topics beforehand. and please be 18+ if we engage in these.

seven

characters
I roleplay men, women, and nonbinary characters. most of whom will always be queer in some way. there are no limitations to characters you can make and present yourself. side note, also, the personality descriptions may not always be 100% accurate as I tend to discover more about characters as I roleplay them. those descriptions tend to be more like a guide than anything set in stone.

eight

relationships

open to bxb, gxg, and bxg, as well as all the combos enby characters add. preference for queer relationships. and a preference for slowburns. but not all roleplays have to involve romantic and/or sexual relationships. always down for purely platonic and/or familial bonds. just lmk what you're interested in beforehand.

nine

keep things interesting
plot and character wise. flawed characters are interesting. angst, plot twists and drama are interesting. we can always brainstorm ideas if things start to get dull or start something new.

ten

multiple characters
happy to do more than one roleplay with one person and different characters. would prefer to keep to our main ocs within individual roleplays but side characters are welcome to be used to flesh out worlds and stories. mostly a rule for me since I have a habit of getting really into some roleplays and making so many ocs for them.

eleven

genres & themes
open to pretty much anything. will have dividers for ocs made for different genres eg. fantasy, scifi, supernatural. big fan of royalty/fantasy dynamics. you can always add some extra info to an already existing character of yours instead of having to make a new one for different genres and things.

twelve

be respectful
stick to the rules. be nice. if something makes either of us uncomfortable or we're not interested in certain topics/themes don't be afraid to speak up and don't make a fuss about it. we're here to have fun and enjoy ourselves.
