I'm honestly debating rewriting this entire thing. I know there's only 7 chapters and it's barely that far in, but I went in without a set plot line and with very few characters (which just makes for a boring story).
In the scenario I do rewrite it, there's a chance the POV will switch from Yaeko to Ace - AND Yaeko's name will be changed to something more fitting for her species (her current name is of Japanese origins). The name of the fic would have to be changed if this happens. It will likely take a long time to finish setting up the story so I can rewrite it, and it's likely the story will change entirely (with Ace not being an agent for Animal Corp. but instead for a different company while there's a lot more characters and lore). If the POV stays in Yaeko's, she might be working for Animal Corp. instead and in on all the experiments. Don't worry, it'll still be HeadAgent.
I'm SO sorry to those who were invested in the current story. I hate to do this because I know I was building up the story and some people liked it, but I just think rewriting it may be for the better, especially so the story can be more organized and make more sense. I feel like the dynamic between Ace and Lola is very messy and dramatic and that doesn't help the story at all. Yaeko and Ace don't really have a dynamic at all and their relationship is a little mysterious (which was not what I intended).
There is a chance I'll abandon this, but that's not very likely unless I end up having little to no free time or motivation to keep writing.
