*today was karkat's first day of being a sophomore. he really wasn't ready and probably could be doing something worthy, but can he decide that? no..sadly.*

*he woke up fairly early. he had some time to get ready and maybe eat breakfast but that includes cooking it, so erase that thought. he was just gonna get ready and go to the bus stop early if he can.*

*he put his clothes on they where surely getting tighter but he didn't wanna buy new ones right now, so the old ones will have to do, even if they're uncomfortable*

*karkat grabbed his keys and backpack making sure he had everything. once he was done he left the house. it was 730 and sleeping at 10am to 5pm really messed him up and really lacked of energy*

*when he was close to the bus he wasn't paying attention and tripped over a rock he looked up and saw a blond hair dude with black shades..you thought he was kinda cute but he just witnessed him fall! that sucks!!* "SHIT, FUCK UHM..S-SORRY.."

*you stumbled to get up and when you did you fell back down. your face was a flushed color of candy red from how embarrassing this was*

*the guy with glasses held his hand out to help karkat. you grabbed his hand and shook your face to stop blushing, hoping it worked* "yo. my names dave. what's yours?"

*so his name is dave..doesn't suit him to well but maybe you just..you dont even know* "MY NAME..? ITS..KARKAT" *you fidgeted your hands from how nervous you where..*

*dave..was probably looking at karkat though his glasses, if he can even see. "well, we should be friends. sit with me on the bus" he said. YOU sit with HIM? why you out of anyone? well it might lower your loser status, fuck it yea* "YEA OKAY..I'LL..ILL SIT WITH YOU.."

"mhm. and at lunch okay? if you have other friends they can join." *stupid, if you really had that many friends why would you say yes. this is your only chance for a friend. he seems fine enough so* "YEA ILL SIT THERE TO..AND UHM.. I DONT HAVE ANY..FRIENDS"

*you regret saying that. he'll think your a loser for fucking sure. gosh why are you so stupid? will thinking he speaks over your thoughts* "well you have one friend, it's me. let's walk over to the bus stop now okay? bus is almost here."
