Nicktoons: The Phantom Genie Saga

Three's a Crowd

Our story takes place shortly after "Nicktoons Unite", a video game crossover event, in which Jimmy Neutron, Timmy Turner, Danny Phantom, and SpongeBob SquarePants work together to defeat each of their greatest enemies, who teamed up to form the Evil Syndicate.

(We open up on Earth 69, home of Jimmy Neutron, Retroville, Texas, USA, in his backyard. We cut to Jimmy's lab, where we see him pulling around some cables, which are plugged into his Interdimensional Portal, an updated version of the Universal Portal Machine from "Nicktoons Unite". Jimmy plugs in the cables to his big computer screen: the portal activates as Jimmy sits down in front of the computer)

VOX: Portal uplink successful. Awaiting further orders, Jimmy.

Jimmy: VOX, begin omniversal analysis. Label current universal collection M-76 and start scanning all Earth's for potential interdimensional threats to Retroville.

VOX: Shall I include current Earth 69?

Jimmy: Yes, proceed, VOX.

(VOX begins scanning nearby dimensions for potential threats. Suddenly, Jimmy's Mom calls him over the video phone on the computer, startling Jimmy)

Jimmy's Mom: Jimmyyyy! Come in and make yourself some lunch.

Jimmy's Dad: (butts in) Yeah, Jimbo. We've got one of nature's greatest wonders: (holds up pumpkin pie) pumpkin pie.

Jimmy: (whines) Mom! Dad! I told you: I'm busy scanning neighboring universes for potential threats to Retroville. (Jimmy's parents frown) Don't you remember what I told you happened during my last interdimensional crisis?

Jimmy's Dad: (puts down pumpkin pie, points at screen) Jimmy, lunch is the second most important meal of the day, (smiles, puts down finger) right after breakfast.

Jimmy's Mom: (puts hands on hips) Your father's right, Jimmy; you march (points at floor) right in here (points toward table) and get yourself some food!

Jimmy: (sighs, looks down) Yes, Mom.

(The video phone deactivates; Jimmy turns around)

Jimmy: Oh, well. The lab should be fine (starts walking out) for a couple hours. (stops; Goddard whines) Don't worry, boy. I've updated my security tenfold. It'll be fine. (starts walking again) Now, come on.

(Jimmy and Goddard walk off-screen. The computer screen flashes "Earth 20 scanning"; At that moment we zoom in on the Interdimensional Portal and transition to the Ghost Zone, located on Earth 20, home of Danny Phantom, where we see the Box Ghost floating around)

Box Ghost: How sad that I, the Box Ghost, most frequent visitor to Earth, have only struck fear into the hearts of mankind once, but once I begin my reign of terror anew, I will be the most respected ghost in all the Ghost Zone! (pauses, floats away) To do this, I must take inspiration from my brethren. And my arch-nemesis, Danny Phantom, has fought a lot of them. (pauses, floats further away) Vlad Plasmius, Skulker, Technus: each formidable foes in their own right. And they all have one thing in common: technology! (stops, raises arms in the air) So, what better place to get technology than the most advanced ghost in all the Ghost Zone: (camera turns on Clock work's lair) Clockwork!

(We cut to inside Clockwork's lair. The Box Ghost flies in through the front door, which has been left open)

Box Ghost: Foolish of Clockwork to leave the front door open.

(We cut to the top of the tower. Box ghost flies in, smiling gleefully)

Box Ghost: And wouldn't you know, he's gone grocery shopping! (closes eyes, laughs; opens eyes, looks at camera) I'll never tell you what ghosts eat. (flies around room, awestruck) Look at all these gadgets! (floats to shelf with strange medallions) Time medallions! (floats over to time portal) Screens that let you see into the future! But which will be right for me?
