Prologue: The Monster

I was just casually watching Winx club, I was on the fourth season and I was thinking how empty this feels after Valtor was defeated.

So I thought what if Valtor was never just one season's villain? What if his arrival in the third season was just the beginning?

Everything that happened in the series before the thirds season last episode happened in the book's universe too. Maybe with some little changes.

After the last episode of the third episode, there willl be a lot of changes!

Valtor's Defeat

The battle was intense. Fire was everywhere. One ball of flame and then other. The battle was equal and no one knew who would survive or die. A minor change, an initially insignificant move can actually lead to one's defeat.

Then Bloom unexpectedly uses her fairy dust and extinguishes Valtor's fiery spell, that was heading towards her. With some more unexpected shifts in her position and a little more intense fireballs, Valtor was on the ground.

The rest of the winx club was on the corner too scared to intervene in the battle between the two bearers of the dragon flame. They had never ever seen their best friend so passionate, so raw and deadly. She didn't care to destroy her enemy, when she was fighting the Trix or Darkar.

"That was it Valtor, are you ready to return to the Omega dimension?"
Bloom says, her eyes dark with the momentum of the battle.

"It is such a pity, actually"
Valtor responds trying to sound unshaken and indifferent

Bloom narrows her eyebrows.

"It is such a pity because you and me could have made a great team. We would have been unstoppable! Invincible, indestructible!Join me Bloom!"
His voice filled with desperation but a stable ambition that never disappears.

"I will never be the monster that you were!"
And with that, Bloom sends the final blow, sending Valtor directly to the Omega dimension.

Valtor's journey to the Omega dimension was excruciating. His body was pulled from multiple directions by supernatural forces. He was being pulled in a tunnel with frozen winds in extremely high velocities.

At last, he arrived. He was thrown in thick layers of snow. At first he was knocked out. After some moments he woke up, he was weak, defeated and humiliated.

He found his stability and with slow steps he tried to find a place to hide. To stay unnoticed by the ice serpents. Now he knew what to do to escape, but this time, he would handle the situation differently.

He found a corner of ice. He sat there and he rested his head against the ice wall. He craved revenge. He should had annihilated this girl, Bloom, from the very beginning.

She dared to call him a monster, like it wasn't for the ones she so passionately defended, that he ended up like this.

Like it wasn't for their lies, their mouths that they couldn't ever shut.

Because Valtor, he did terrible, evil things. That is true.

He is not an innocent man.

But he used to be innocent.

Some decades ago, Valtor was born in a village in Domino, by two simple people. They didn't access to extraordinary power, they had just a mundane power, and they were happy with this.

But their child, he wasn't like that. When he would have outbursts, he would release huge amounts of energy. In just two decades, the whole magic dimension knew about a mysterious man that obtained a significant power. Some rumours said that he was the bearer of the dragon flame.
